This morning we braved the rain and mud at Oasby!!
Lando was amazing going double clear in the Intermediate for 6th!!
The appreciation for this horse is incredible as he did his first 100 here last year!!
He is a star ⭐️ in the making and definitely one destined for the top!!
Ralph produced a good dressage but unfortunately the ground had deteriorated drastically so we retired in the show jumping. He’ll now go on his much deserved holiday ready to step up to Advanced next year 🤩

What a great way for Joey to finish the season with a 5th place in the 4* at Little Downham Horse Trials
So lovely for his owners Michelle and Dylan who made the long journey to watch him!!
Looking forward to the 2025 seasons 😊

We had a great day at Little Downham Horse Trials with the ponies!!
Ralph was great in the 3* to come 6th with a lovely double clear 🤩
Gavin finished off his season in fine style going double clear in the Intermediate for 4th🥰
Lando stepped up for his first intermediate and did it in fine style with a 27 dressage one down and great xc for 6th😊
The going was perfect and the sun shone! !

Big Winny appreciation post!!
Super proud of Winny this weekend at Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials going clear in her first 4* at only 8yrs old!!
Super excited about the future with this fabulous mare!!!

We had a lovely couple of days at Cornbury House Horse Trials!!
Coffee finished his first proper season with a fabulous double clear in the 5yr old championship, he has surpassed our expectations having run 12 times and only having 2 poles down all season and 100% XC record including his first novice!! Looking forward to next season.
Hugo had a good run in the 5yr old champs with one down and super xc😊
Ralph gave me the most amazing ride XC in the 7yr old champs just 2 seconds over the time in his first 3* but unfortunately had the last show jump down this afternoon, really pleased for Steve and Claire who also bred him.
Queenie was on great form with a lovely double clear for 5th in the 2*
Thank you as always to our fabulous team for keeping the horses in tip top condition!!

Head person required!!
With Jasmine moving on at the end of the season we are looking for someone to come and help run our yard!!
Normal yard duties able to turn out to a high standard and drive a lorry an advantage lots of opportunities to travel to all the top events.
Able to hack out and deal with fit horses a must.
We have a nice team of 3 full time and part time staff to work with.
Experience essential

5yr old gelding 55% blood
This fabulous young horse has a good eventing record with double clear and two 3rd’s at BE100
He has fantastic paces with dressage consistently in the 20’s
He is one of the best young horse I have ridden xc and is sure to go far!!
I feel he is good enough for a top horse but also has such a great trainable temperament he would win grass roots easily!!

Our Burghley adventure came to an end yesterday!!
We had a silly mistake at the Defender Vally ditch, picked ourselves up and flew through the enormous leaf pit unfortunately we ran out of oomph coming out of the Trout Hatchery so walked home.
Joey is 100% today and out in the field munching on grass!!
Thank you so much to his fabulous owners and friends Michelle Harries and Dylan for you unwavering support!! It takes so much to get a horse to Burghley let alone to have bred him as well 🤩

We had a great afternoon at Defender Burghley Horse Trials with the two fabulous 4yr olds!!
The boys did me proud behaving really well and feeling so grown up!!!
The future is looking very exciting!!
Amazing to have so much support today it was amazing to see everyone ☺️

It wasn’t quite the dressage test we had hoped for here at Defender Burghley Horse Trials there were very strong gusts of wind which produced some horse eating flowers!!
We had some lovely work which gave us a glimpse of what’s to come. We’re sitting 29th over night and the XC looks big!!

Really proud of our two apprentices today at Shelford Manor
Philly in the 90 and Chloe in the 100 both had dressage in the 20’s Chloe was double clear and both in the top 10!!!!
All the hard work is paying off Girls well done 👏

We had a very successful day at BEDE Events Shelford Manor!!
Lando went and won the novice finishing on his fab 27 dressage!! 🏆
Coffee the super 5yr old gained his first big boy point going double clear in the novice to finish 8th!!
Gavin had a good Open Novice run for 8th
Peter was in the 100 finishing on his lovely 28 dressage for 3rd🥉
Hugo had a great double clear for 3rd 🥉
We had amazing support and picnic today from our lovely friends and owners!!

Top class potential!!

16.3hh 4yr old gelding by Contendro out of a Hold up Premier SF mare
This super athletic chap has been given time to mature and not rushed
He has been to a handful of shows where he is happy jumping round 90-1m courses
He has xc schooled seen water and great with ditches.
He is sure to excel in Showjumping or eventing as he has great trainability and a lovely nature.
He has a full set of clean X-rays

This morning we had a quick trip to Addington for the BYEH 4yr old class
Mocha was at her first ever show and took everything in her stride performing really well
Tommy unfortunately had a pole today but really exciting horses for the future!!!

Winner winner 🏆
Joey went and won the Open Intermediate at Frickley Park Horse Trials !! He went for a Defender Burghley Horse Trials prep run and you can’t get much better than that!!!
Winny had a lovely double clear in the OI for 7th and Ralph had a great Intermediate run for 3rd🤩
We took two of our lovely 4yr for the BE90 open
Tyson was amazing in his first ever event to finish on his 28 dressage for 5th and Louie produced a great dressage and showjumping but his lack of experience xc meant we saved him for another day!!
They will both head to Burghley for the 4yr old finals!!
