We are overwhelmed by all the messages and emails we received after our announcement yesterday. Please be assured we are all fine and its business as usual!

When looking for an alternative dog walker, we wanted to give you our thoughts/things to think about...

Top of the list is to make sure they are insured!

Ask-

What times of the day they will take your dog out? Is it a solo walk or pack walk? At Pawprints we only ever walked one or two dogs together so you could be sure your dog got our undivided attention. If they are walking more than one dog at a time, how would they handle potential conflict between the dogs?

Are they are animal first aid trained?

Are they police checked as they will be coming into your home?

How long have they been walking dogs?

How would your walks be covered in the event the walker is on holiday or sick?

Ask for references!

***COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENT**

It's with a heavy heart that I write to let you know that on 31 October 2024, Pawprints UK will permanently close. This has been an exceedingly difficult decision to make because our business remains vibrant and we know the turmoil this will potentially cause our customers, most of whom have been with us a very long time and we are fortunate enough to call friends.

Despite the strength of our business, over the last 12/18 months, it's become increasingly difficult to recruit reliable team members, of the calibre we want, which has led us to today's decision.

We will continue all walks and visits throughout October.

On behalf of the entire Pawprints team, we thank you for trusting us with your beloved pets and when the time comes, there will be tears as we hang up leads for the final time.
