🌟 Meet Scarlett! 🌟

We are looking for the most loving and compassionate home for 8 year old Scarlett, a Dogue de Bordeaux X Shar Pei.
She was surrendered to RATS through no fault of her own. ❤️

Scarlett is blind and having seen the eye specialist at our vet, she has glaucoma but she fortunately doesn’t need to have any surgery. She copes very well with her disability.🐾

In her previous home, Scarlett needed to be left for very long periods each day. As a consequence, she is severely overweight and her foster carers are working alongside our vet to reduce her weight slowly.

She loves short walks with lots of sniffs but most importantly, she is looking for a cosy home where she will have plenty of fuss (and a nice garden to potter around in). 🥰

Scarlet has a beautiful nature and despite everything that she has been through, she’s a happy girl who loves affection and cuddles. 😍

We would be happy for her to live with children over 10 years old, who would understand and respect her need for space whilst she’s settling in and finding her feet.

Scarlett’s wish list:

🐶 Can live with children 10+
🐶 Can potentially live with another calm dog
🐶 Cannot live with cats or small mammals
