Wow, what a mind-blowing start to the workshop! 🌟 Day 1 with the legendary Ivan Balabanov has already transformed the way I see dog training. The importance of play and pairing mood with behavior is just incredible. Learning about emotional coloring and its deep impact on our furry friends' training is game-changing.

Seeing a GOAT (Greatest of All Time) train dogs new tricks right before my eyes is nothing short of amazing! 🐶 This workshop will revolutionize how Woof Land approaches training and understands our dogs' emotions.

Hi All
Are we all excited for tomorrows Fireworks Show at Lake Meadows (2nd November)? I am but what about your furry friends?

You might not know this, but in the last two weeks, your dogs have been listening to fireworks while traveling to and from their walks. It's all part of the effort at Woof Land to desensitise them to this firework season.

Here are my top tips to help you and your furry friends through the day and season:
Desensitise your dog by playing firework noises through a speaker. I find the best time to do this is while you are feeding your dog, as then you will build the nice association with the sound.

Close the curtains, turn up the TV, and avoid giving attention when they’re scared, as this can encourage their fear. Showing affection when they’re anxious actually reinforces their fear, making it worse. Stay calm and assertive to help them feel secure.

Create a cozy den for them to feel secure.

And most importantly, lots of exercise during the day to drain their energy. If they are tired from physical and mental activities, they might even sleep through tomorrow’s event.
