Brachycephalic breeds like pugs, bulldogs and French bulldogs
face a significantly increased risk of heatstroke compared to
long-snouted dogs.
Because of their conformation, flat-faced breeds are less
efficient at cooling themselves through panting, meaning they
can overheat quickly even on mild days.

This handsome gentleman is called Jinky 😍🐶 Jinky came to visit our nurse clinic today at our Middlesbrough branch for his 6 month healthy pet club check in 🐾 which is included in our preventative health care plan. He was such a good boy throughout 🥰 we love how his tail is blurry because he was wagging it so much 😄😍, such a happy and friendly boy!
