Do you know how many teeth dogs are meant to have? That's a lot of brushing! 🪥
As part of your pet's health check we try to examine their teeth. Unfortunately not all of our patients are keen on it, but these are Delilah's teeth, a 4 year old dog. As you can see from the pictures she had quite a lot of tartar build up and some gingivitis (inflammation of the gums). A scale and polish under anaesthetic should clear this up 😁 She's heading home tonight and has plans to start her daily teeth brushing routine tomorrow! She will be back for a check up in 6 months to see how it's going! 🐾

This handsome little man is called Gus 😍🐱 Gus came to see us today at our Middlesbrough branch for his second vaccination 💉💕
Vaccinations are important for cats because they help prevent serious and potentially fatal infectious diseases. Vaccinations also prevent cats from spreading disease to other animals. 🦠

The email comes with a link taking you to a page showing your pet’s name, microchip number, your contact phone number and looks very convincing. PLEASE IGNORE.

There is a list of approved databases on gov.uk: Get your dog or cat microchipped - GOV.UK

Typically you would only pay a fee or first registering your pet or if you contact the company to update your details .

It is important to keep your pet’s microchip contact details up-to-date including if you move address or change phone number/ email address. Please contact your microchip provider direct to update your details.

This handsome young chap is George 😍🐶 George was admitted to our Middlesbrough branch after regrettably helping himself to a banquet of chocolate 🍫 After some medical intervention and some tlc 💕 he is now happily back with his humans. Such a gorgeous boy 🐾
Chocolate contains a chemical called theobromine, which is toxic to dogs.
Chocolate plays a big part to the Halloween period, but should always be kept well out of reach of our pets 🎃👻
