You need a Breeding License.

To promote responsible breeding, everyone who has a litter should be Council Licensed Breeders
It's easy enough to apply for on your local council website.

❗️ This post is to inform you that MSD Animal Health has come to the decision to discontinue supply of Nobivac® Lepto 2 to ALL VETERINARY PRACTICES❗️

What this means is after a review of the newly updated WSAVA Vaccination Guidelines which were published earlier this year. The guidance now has a clear recommendation for the use of quadrivalent leptospirosis vaccines in countries where the sero-epidemiological data for the serogroups is known, which is the case for the UK.

Additionally, Dr Katherine Clarke from Davies Veterinary Specialists was quoted in a recent Vet Times article to also advise the use of quadrivalent leptospirosis vaccines: “Given the increased incidence of L2 vaccinated dogs contracting leptospirosis, the medicine team at Davies strongly advise use of the quadrivalent vaccine (L4) to protect dogs from as many serovars as possible.”

MSD manufactures will be ceasing product supply in Great Britain at the end of 2024. The final batch of Nobivac Lepto 2 10 dose has an expiry of 30/04/2025 and the final batch of Nobivac Lepto 2 50 dose has an expiry of 31/07/2025. These batches will continue to be available until all stock is sold.

All dogs will need to receive two doses of Nobivac L4 four weeks apart in order to benefit from the increased spectrum of protection.

With this being said, Pet Nurse Services will have a limited amount of L2 in stock until the end of 2024. Unfortunately this means that eventually all puppies and dogs will only be offered the L4 vaccine in veterinary practices.

Today is the day, GNR 🙈 Never in a million years thought I'd get a place when I entered the ballot.
Since getting the news it's been emotional, training hasn't been easy, running doesn't come naturally to me and I certainly don't find it easy or painless.
BUT I'll be there today to give it my all and do my 1st ever half marathon.

if anyone is willing to chuck a quid my way I'd appreciate it

Yesterday I laid my beautiful Nanna to rest, we lost her suddenly and its broke my heart 💔
I'll be back at work from 11th December for 1 week before I break up for Christmas, I need to spend some much needed time off to process, grieve and come to terms with everything that's happened and also spend some time with my family so all enquiries after 20th December will not be answered until I'm back at work on 8th January.
Appointments will be limited.

💔💔 Due to a sudden family bereavement, appointments may need to be rearranged/cancelled at short notice, I apologise in advance but I also need my own time to grieve and process the loss. With under 3 weeks to go before I face one of the hardest challenges I've done, there's still time to donate! 🙏

As most of you know I'd choose a sweet treat over exercise anyday, but recently there's been a few things that have happened to me personally to put everything into perspective....

Myself and girls from MaxPower Girls will be doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks on 14th October 2023 in the hope that people can donate to help get Max to California for the therapy he needs.
Max is a little superstar who needs vital treatment offered in California.

So to help Max get to California I'll be walking 25 Miles in 12 hours, which is no easy task, especially with the lovely British Weather, Completing Pen Y Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough summits

Every penny raised will be greatly appreciated.
