Adder Season

Adders are most active between April and July, while bites to humans or dogs are rare it is important to know what to do if you or your dog are bitten.

Adder bites normally occur when they feel they have no choice but to defend themselves, be aware of your surroundings in areas where adders are known to be and keep to paths.

Keep your dog on a lead

If you or your dog are bitten, remain calm and seek help immediately, do not wait for symptoms to appear.

Apologies for being quiet on social media recently - Lesley has been extremely busy with lots going on behind the scenes as well as busy grooming your gorgeous dogs At the beginning of the year Lesley decided to return to college so she could qualify to teach grooming and that's where she is on a Wednesday 🤣 (until February 2024) Back in October she received a surprise email informing her she had been nominated by her tutors and had won a Star of 2023 award for outstanding achievement - in particular her knowledge, natural way with all the dogs and scissoring work. The awards were presented at an Award Ceremony on 1st November at The Capitol in Horsham So your dogs are now groomed by an Award Winning Groomer 😍
