Okehurst Design & Engineering are a company who specialise in the adaptation of trailers and other vehicles for various purposes as well as general engineering. Initially we started out to design and alter old horse trailers into classic, vintage retail outlets but this has lead us to transforming more than just horse trailers. Our first client, ‘Heidi Mead

ows Flowers’ approached us about converting an old horse trailer into a retail florist shop and the finished article can now be seen outside Billingshurst train station. We have subsequently been commissioned to convert two other old horse trailers into very different retail sales outlets and have been approached to convert a classic split screen VW camper into something completely different- so watch this space! We can also take on general engineering projects however big or small. We’ve been inundated with umbrella hire bookings lately, and we totally get it. The British weather is famously unpredictable, and you really can’t beat a classic white umbrella at a wedding 🤍

✨ Such a classic + elegant setup at Two Woods Estate ✨
Wide rustic tables styled with seagrass placemats, stitched oatmeal napkins, dark green candles in brass holders, glowing brass tea lights, and a soft white runner to complement the chivari chairs. Summery florals in bud vases adding extra gorgeousness and colour to this tablescape, while our rustic log slice place settings with timeless name cards complete the look. All finished with our gilt mirror table plan in the background 🌿

When we first designed The Horse & Saddle, we’d never come across a rear bar extension set-up. Safe to say… we’ve clearly started a trend since! 👀🍻

The rear bar creates the perfect space for guests to gather, chat, and enjoy the experience. It also gives plenty of extra room for glassware, bottles, and staff to work their magic behind the scenes.

It’s solid oak, built to a seriously high spec - and it’s little details like this that take a good setup and make it extra special. 🐴✨

We love how these black lanterns add that little extra character. Paired with pilar candles and surrounded by beautiful blooms, they bring a touch of elegance to any set up ✨ 🕯️
