CHRISTMAS PERIOD.

Like many people Xmas make us alwayd reflect on things especially my Thursday Pack.

Consisting of mostly elderly dogs bringing some young ones to increase energy of the pack and also let the older dogs teach the younger ones.

We move together!!

But also reflect on the memories. The years ive walked each dog, our history, where they started conpared to the dogs they are now.

Always remember training is all about being able to create unforgettable memories.

IT'S NOT BLACK & WHITE.

So, let's try to clear this up. Many people I see arguing online or clients that come to us are taught that training is all about stages.

So, when you do crate training, does it mean your dog always has to use a crate? NO. It's the stage they are at to help their psychology adjust to your lifestyle. Over time, you can begin to leave them out if you choose.

My job is to see what stage your dog is at and also your skill level as a dog owner. Then, we begin your training.

Like anything we do i use real life to help you understand, if you just started a martial art, you don't have one lesson and then put into a title fight. Your coach sees where you're at, then you progress until you're skilled enough to fight a real opponent.

Stop being in such a rush; stop expecting things that you haven't taught.

A little truth bomb today, but let's start talking about it.

WELCOME BACK SAM.

So i met Sam as a puppy doing social work and puppy work, after going to other trainers for obiedence and training Sam became high reactive to people.

Now when assessing him i found he isnt really reactive he has learnt that by barking and acting aggressively he will get out of the situation. Causing his owners to muzzle & short lead him, this is only going to create more frustration and reactivity.

Unfortunatley the way these guys were taught which is to correct everything he does other than whats told looses you leadership and destroys your dogs confidence.

So longer lead so he can begin to make choices that we can reward and re introduce tension (corrections) the right way.

When owners muzzle their dogs i can allow them to run their issues out, breaking the cycle and allowing a new routine to take place.

But welcome back Sam we will get you sorted buddy.

Announcements.

So to sum it up guys:

*Dog Boarding for clients only starting Jan 2026
*Changes to sessions i.e locations.
*15 minute windows for arriving for home visits.

I already have people booked in for Jan and a few overnighters so if you interested in dog boarding or training you know what to do 📩

WE GOT ABSOLUTELY SOAKED.

Halfway through our pack walks, the rain and wind went into overdrive.

My pack couldn't wait to jump into the warm van and cozy up.

I cancelled my session and went home, and of course the sun decided to make an appearance 🤬

But the doggos handled it like pros, and we're still trying to master the art of predicting English weather 😆

1-1 CONSULTATION SESSION.

The reason we do a consultation is to see what is happening with your dog and how the owner is handling the situation.

But most importantly show them what is capable when they understand what is happening, from there we can start training at both the dogs and humans level.

Jessie came in with aggression but on asessing her she is fear reactive and doesnt know what what to do when she becomes scared.

My job is to show her the right choices & respecting her boundaries to rebuild trust and confidence. Once she began to trust she became a soft & sweet girl.

Now the journey starts & the hard work begins.

IS IT YOU OR THE DOG?

Identifying is the first step in training if we dont know why things are happening wr can fix it and maintain it.

Before i became a trainer learning the why was the hardest part. Trial & Error, but always look at it as do i need to change or do me and my dog need to change.

It may change everything for you.
