Quieter session today and they definitely made up for it !

Puppy Social Indoor ✨🏠

Wow what puppy heaven 💖 20 little pups met up to say hello and get their first taste of socialisation! They all did so well and had some super proud Paw-rents today !!

Small and Medium Playtime Outdoor ✨🌳
Our energetic bunch came in flying and so did the toys! Loved seeing some of our indoor lot join us for an outdoor session and they really got into the swing of it !

Arthur celebrated his 1st birthday with us here at Dogs Go at our indoor softplay!!

He brought along his brother Lawrence and enjoyed playing and a pup cup each!!

2. MORE EVENTS 💃 We are recruiting for weekend staff so we can put on more events - like our fabulous breed specific events that we all miss! If you know anyone with strong customer service skills who loves dogs and is experienced with them- please ask them to email [email protected] 💚

We’re Hiring: Dog Events Host!🐶🎉

Are you a dog lover with a knack for understanding canine behaviour? Do you have a big personality and love engaging with people? If so, we want YOU to join our team!

About the Role:
As a Dog Events Host you’ll be the heart of our events—creating a fun, welcoming experience for dogs and their owners. You’ll need to confidently manage group dynamics (both canine and human!) while ensuring everything runs smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing:
🐾 Hosting and facilitating dog events, making them fun and memorable.
🐾 Engaging with customers and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
🐾 Managing dogs in a group setting and responding appropriately to their behaviour.
🐾 Travelling between event locations (within a 10-minute drive).
🐾 Working Sundays from 9am – 2/3pm (ideally Saturdays too from 10am – 2pm).

What We’re Looking For:
✔ A passion for dogs and a solid understanding of their behaviour.
✔ A confident, friendly personality—you’ll be the face of the business!
✔ Strong people skills and the ability to upsell.
✔ Reliable transport for short-distance travel between event locations.
✔ Availability to work Sundays (Saturdays too would be a bonus!).

Thursday Daycamp ✨🌳
After a misty morning we were graced with some sunshine to end our day 🌞
Our Doggy Daycamp crew embrace whatever the weather here and had a fantastic time running ( & rolling 😅 ) around on the frosty grass then having a paddle in the pool when sun started to shine!

🐾 Hugo’s Journey to Confidence 🐾 Some of you might have recognised Hugo from previous stories and posts, he is a rescue Pointer who has been working hard on his training journey! Like many rescue dogs, Hugo has had his struggles - especially when it comes to staying calm around other dogs. But today, we took a huge step forward! 🚀 Using the "Place" command, we helped Hugo learn how to observe other dogs from a safe distance without feeling overwhelmed. This powerful training tool teaches dogs how to relax in one spot, giving them the confidence to handle challenging situations. 💡 Why is this important? 👉 Helps dogs feel secure in their environment 👉 Builds focus & impulse control 👉 Reduces reactivity and anxiety Hugo absolutely smashed his session today! 👏 With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, he's learning that other dogs aren’t a threat—they’re just part of the world around him. 🌎 If you have a dog who struggles with excitement or anxiety around other dogs, training like this can make a world of difference. 📢 I'm sure many of you have dealt with your own reactivity issues!
