Gundogs two got the worse weather this afternoon however they worked tirelessly to ensure they got the best out of the dogs.

Holly, Tim, Claire and Shane accompanied me on the shoot today. Nothing pleases me more than seeing a client go from training ground to live shoot working their dogs to an excellent standard. It was Holly's and Shane's first shoot and both done extremely well with little Raf retrieving his first pheasant.

Thanks guys and a very well done. You all worked extremely hard.

Sometimes we have to train a dog remotely. They get used to the training ground and form a connection with the trainer. However one of the main reasons for this is consistency, I can see what the owner and dog get up to on their daily walk and guide them through each situation giving the owner a lot of confidence and thus getting a really enjoyable walk with their dog.

Fantastic day today and I must say a very well done to Ian, Tim and Neil for coming on the shoot and working their lovely dogs in massively difficult terrain. All the dogs played a blinder and never put a foot wrong. I am always very excited when a client comes along and works their dogs for what they have been bred to do.

Well done boys you done the shoot, me and yourselves proud.
