Thank you to everyone who has provided lots of amazing responses to our application with the council to get permission for Dogs Unleashed. 🐕

We have received some messages that the Kirklees website has not allowed people to send responses through, you have the ability to email the planner directly over this weekend here:

Thank you for everyone who has already submitted positive responses to our planning permission application. The more support we receive, the better the chances of having the permission granted.

There was some issues with people not being able to submit responses on the Kirklees site, but we believe this issue has been fixed.

If you haven’t sent a response through and have the spare time it would be a great help if you could provide some positive feedback.

We can’t thank you all enough for your help in this matter.

We have had to put in an application to Kirklees for planning consent to keep Dogs Unleashed open.

Any support and comments you can leave to help in our application in keeping Dogs Unleashed is greatly appreciated.
Just giving your opinions on the exercise area and usage will really help support our case.

With the weather as unpredictable as it is, we would highly recommend bring wellies or walking boots with you, as the field is very muddy at the moment. A towel for your hairy hound will also save you a trip to a valet. 👢

Hi all, as with most weekends we are fully booked, but unfortunately an indixent occurred where a couple came into the field with no !booking. We had a customer was booked in 15:05-15:50 and the next customer at 16:05.

A couple with 2 dogs (a chocolate and a white Spaniel) entered the field just before 15:35 and did not leave until 16:05.

This has caused distress to both customers as the first had to leave her booking as her dog was reactive and didn’t understand why someone entered her session. The second was late for her session as this couple had not left the field.

At Dogs Unleased we trust our customers to attend and leave their sessions at the right time, we have a 15 minute gap between sessions to make sure any reactive dogs do not overlap. We are upset by this occurrence on Saturday.

If anyone feels something is not right entering, during or leaving your session please call us (numbers detailed online or your email confirmation).

We hope this was a mistake & doesn’t happen again x

We have seen an extremely high number of poo’s being left in the dog field the last 10 days- this is not pleasant for other customers so please please pick up after your dog (and put the bag in the bin!🤦🏼‍♀️)

We provide bins and bags on site.

Please help us keep the field fun for all throughout the day 🥰
