At Kate's Happy Tails we proudly hold a 5-star licence which means we have worked very hard to achieve the highest standard of care for your dog. Our home from home service provides your dog with a loving, playful and safe environment as they become part of our family during their stay. We treat every dog individually to make sure we understand their needs and have a great welcome and registration process to make sure they are happy with us.

Home boarding is available for holidays, weekends and odd days/nights but we get booked up fast, offering our regular customers priority as part of Kate's Happy Tails family. We are always happy to hear from new customers to see if we can offer any availability so feel free to get in touch!

Who is Kate's Happy Tails?

It's me, Kate. Also known as "step dog momma" to many of my boarding customers, the "lady who wears a body camera" when dog walking and someone who prefers dog/animal company over the human kind on a daily basis 😉😂

Kate's Happy Tails is my full time, self employed business and passion, with more than a little help from my hubby, Mickey Dog Walker (Mr Happy Tails).

We love welcoming furry friends into our family whether that's dog walking, dog home boarding (5 star licenced) or pet pop-in visits. We believe in offering all pets an individual tailored service to make them as happy as possible, along with making their health and safety our top priority.

So I regularly get comments like... I like your walking belt, you look well kitted up, is that a body camera and even called the dog walker with the body camera lol.

I take quite a lot of thought into my kit to make sure I have my dogs and my personal safety as a top priority. I'm not a fan of a back pack so I have a great little walking belt with pockets and attachments to ensure I have;
- Treat pouch full of goodies to reward my doggies
- Spare slip lead in case of emergencies (I've had to use this a couple of times with lost dogs that I have come across)
- Tags to attach to my dogs with my details to show they are out with me, their dog walker
- Poo Bags and Doo-Kee (you will always find me with spare poo bags probably in every pocket lol)
- Whistle
- Strong D ring to attach a dog to me if ever I need too

2 of my most important items are my first aid kit (attached to my belt) and my body camera. Whilst I hope I don't have to use it regularly, today I was so grateful of my first aid kit as one of my lovely dogs cut her paw pad. After giving first aid, I was able to get her safely back home to her mum and she was later checked out by a vet.

Always plan for what could happen and hope that you won't need it but trust me, the time you do, it can make all the difference.

Charlie is a 9 year old Cockapoo who is staying with a Lady. Went missing Lickey Golf Club Rose Hill Lickey, Rednal B45 8RR She does know the area as gets walked there all the time, She is being spotted but wont go to Lady. If anyone sees her please DO NOT OR CALL HER OR CHASE her but if you can try dropping to the ground look sideways throw some treats talk in a quiet voice and see if she will come to you.
SHE IS BEEN SEEN VERY CLOSE TO THE MOTORWAY ITS IMPORTANT NO ONE CHASES OR CALLS HER .SHE HAS RAN THIS FAR AS RUNNING SCARED FROM EVERYONE .
