Wellcat Rescue Wellcat Rescue is a registered charity (518860). Wellcat is a small rescue and charity (518860) based in Frankley, Birmingham.

We take in unwanted or stray cats and kittens, ensure they receive necessary veterinary care and find them their purrfect forever homes. All of our cats are fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, snap tested for for FIV and FeLV, and up to date with flea and worming treatment. They also go to their new homes with a ‘Gotcha Day’ package to ensure as smooth transition to help them settle into the

ir new homes. We have a fantastic team of volunteers who work around the clock with the day to day care of the cats and kittens in our rescue and have amazing vet support from Oaks Veterinary Centre, Cotteridge. Wellcat relies solely on donations, fundraising, volunteers and a supportive community. It is only through their continued dedication that the charity can continue running and helping hundreds of cats and kittens each year. New friendship alert! 💞

Following from our new outdoor enclosure and Jessie and Raven’s new house being made, our resident kitties have been soo happy and absolutely loving life with all the extra space. This small change has made a massive difference to the cat’s day to day lives and confidence in their new environment.

One particular change we’ve noticed is that Jessie and Gracie have started to become good friends. At first, it’s almost as if they are having a conversation; Gracie will rub her head around the door of their house to say “hello, can I come and visit you?” Jessie will chirp and roll around as if to say, “A visitor! Hello, you seem nice. Would you like to come in and hang out with me? Make yourself at home! ” Gracie will go inside the house and they both lay there together purring away. 🥰

Who knew these two would start making little memories together? We’re loving every minute of their unexpected friendship and can’t wait to share more cute moments from these sweet girls. 😺

This beautiful kitty is Lila, and she’s in search of her purrfect forever home. 🏠

Lila has been an amazing momma, doing a fantastic job caring for her babies. Now that they’re ready to start their own adventures, it’s time for Lila to enjoy some well earned rest and begin a new chapter of her own.

Lila is approximately 3 years old and is full of purrsonaliity. She’s a very confident, loving girl who loves nothing more than head scratches and gentle affection.

Lila is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and snap tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

Hello! You’ve met us before, we’re Mya and Doja!

When we last had a con-fur-sation, you may remember that we were still finding our feet with rescue life. Well, we’ve definitely found our paws now!

We absolutely love affection, especially being brushed. Whenever one of us gets brushed, the other just has to get involved too. We love spending time together, and would make great pets as we would just love spending time with you too!
