One of my regular day care guest dogs getting a glow up today!

If I have your dog for holiday boarding or is a regular doggie daycare guest, I can take them to MK Dog Grooming while they are in my care. The dogs are always so relaxed afterwards, not to mention smell great, nails done, get a cute bandana and have a cut to suit their breed type and shape👍🐾

It's very muddy out isn't it?!🤣 After getting back from a recent particularly muddy woodland walk, I decided to take the plunge and get a Mud Daddy to hose off the dogs legs, tummies and paws with warm water before they get towel dried and go back in the van and so far so good! There's alot of pumping to build up the pressure but it's certainly cut down on mess! I hope your pups got though last night OK. If this was their first fireworks night or they are still fearful you can work on getting them used to it before next year comes round. It's A Heat Wave 🫠

Heatstroke is a risk! We are rescheduling walks as early as possible to avoid the high temperatures where we can but otherwise we will be visiting your dogs at the time you have booked so as to break up their day to allow them out in the garden for 10mins or so and give them fusses and play using their toys or training games and treats for the duration of their booked walk time.

Both myself and my assistant are pet first aid trained and fully aware of the symptoms of heat stroke so obviously are taking steps not to let pets overheat! If your dog is a puppy, senior, flat faced, overweight or has a thick coat we will be extra careful and opt for fun inside time instead of a walk.

If we are transporting your dog - my car has air conditioning and sun visors at all the windows and stayed cool this weekend (in 30 degrees outside heat yesterday!)
