✈️ Careers took off at Birmingham Airport last Friday!

RMF’s very own Aaron, Rachel and Matthew were on the ground representing the team at an inspiring careers event, brilliantly organised by the fantastic Henry Parker and Fiona Weir from VINCI.

We had the pleasure of meeting students from Smithswood School and Daylesford School, who came ready to explore the world of work. From chatting with employers to rolling up their sleeves for hands-on engineering activities, these future trailblazers didn’t hold back! 🛠️👷‍♂️

One of the highlights? A Q&A session with real-life apprentices - no question was too big, too small, or too “how do I get your job?” The students came equipped with “fact-finding” booklets (and plenty of curiosity), soaking up insights like career-ready sponges. 🧠💬📒

Massive thank you to the brilliant team at VINCI, especially Henry and Fiona, for putting together such a well-organised and engaging day. RMF is proud to be supporting the Birmingham Airport project, delivering waste and logistics services - and driving real social value while we’re at it! ♻️🚛✨ 🙌

Building Futures: Ukrainians Step into Construction 🇺🇦🏗️

It’s been an incredibly productive week for the Ukrainian cohort on the Step into Construction programme! 💪 With RMF Group’s support, participants have successfully completed key industry courses, including:

Empowering Futures at Hounsfield Training Site! 🚀

On 21st March, we welcomed local MP Bradley Thomas to our Hounsfield training site! 🙌 He spent time with our dedicated team - Clare, Louise, Ray, Michelle and Dara - learning more about our work to support individuals in gaining valuable skills for their future careers.

Bradley also took the time to chat with some of our learners, hearing first-hand about their journeys and how training opens doors to new opportunities. Seeing the power of skills development in action and its impact on local communities is fantastic! 💡👏

Teamwork, Creativity & Horsey Glam! 🐴✨

Our January 13th Level 1 Equine Care students recently wrapped up their RMF experience in style with a Best Turned Out competition! 🎉👑 Splitting into teams of two, they put their skills (and creativity!) to the test, giving their horses the ultimate makeover. From gleaming coats to perfect plaits, these teams showed that hard work, teamwork, and a little fun go a long way!

It wasn’t just about the competition - it was about coming together, supporting each other, and celebrating everything they’ve learned. 💪💙

A huge job done to everyone involved - you’ve finished on a high! 🏆🐎
