I have a Weenect gps tracker for sale if anyone is interested suitable for cats and dogs.

Purchased for Cassie the escape artist !! but it’s too big for her.

Its the smallest tracker on the market and only weighs 25g, fits to dogs own collar. I would say it’s suitable for any dog shih Tzu/ westie size upwards.

It also has a recall/ training function.

Here we go again - Covid update!

New guidance was issued yesterday from Defra and the pet industry federation.

Dog groomers can't be open for routine grooms.

Welfare means a vet referral for skin issues or excessive matting.

I will be in touch with anyone who has an appt booked during lockdown, please bear with me.

I am open as an essential business for the welfare of dogs.

Please wear a mask and keep a safe distance when visiting.

I am sure it goes without saying please do not bring your dog if you or your household have any symptoms.

I completely understand if anyone would like to change/cancel their appt.

Christmas update 🎄

I now have no appts left this year. I have a cancellation list and will try my best to groom any dogs on the waiting list already, but will not be adding to the list.

I do have appts in January for regular customers.

In the new year I will only be grooming regular customers that prebook their next appt.

I really appreciate all the support to my small business but seem to spend any time off answering messages, calls and trying to accommodate last minute bookings, i feel like I’ve permanently got my diary open and working more hours than I would like to squeezing extra dogs in. I hope you all understand.

This does not apply to wash onlys.

All my regular customers are welcome to book as far in advance as they like and if you need to cancel your appt I only need 48hrs notice.

Well it’s been a confusing few days but I have been notified this morning that dog groomers can now officially open during lockdown #2.

We have been added to the government website. I am so pleased that our industry has been recognised as essential.

I will be looking at all
the guidelines and legislation to ensure that I am 100% covid compliant.

I will let you know if there are any handover changes or amendments to pre booked appointments.

I will contact you over the weekend to reschedule any missed appts.

If anyone would prefer not to bring their dog during lockdown I totally understand but please let me know as soon as possible

Sadly I have been told by public health England that I have to close.

The guidelines are changing by the minute so this could change, but I have no option but to close temporarily until I know 100% whether I can open and if so what procedures I have to follow.

I will be closed from tomorrow and I will keep you updated.

If you have an appt booked in November I will be in touch shortly.

THE UK is entering another national lockdown as coronavirus cases and hospital admissions continue to rise, resulting in the implementation of new rules and measures. Will dog groomers have to close?

OPENING UPDATE

Over the next few days I will be contacting everyone who has missed an appt due to Covid 19 closure.

With so many dogs missed it’s a mammoth task, so please be patient until I contact you.

I will arrange appts as early as I can but working alone it’s going to take a few weeks to catch up.

If your dog has been home groomed or you’ve managed to get your dog groomed elsewhere and no longer need an urgent appointment can’t you let me know.

If you cannot make an appt can you also please let me know so I can offer the appt to someone else.

I will have social distancing measures in place with contactless handovers so bringing your dog is completely safe. I will detail how the hand over will work in a separate post.

A quick update

Following the latest government announcement I am still closed and will be until restrictions for small businesses are lifted.

As soon as we know more I will be in contact to reschedule missed appointments.

I am inevitably getting asked a lot of questions about trimming dogs at home. I am happy to give you any advice/support you need so please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
