LARRY aged 4 💙

Lovely Larry!

He is a big, handsome, cuddly boy who loves to meet new people and give kisses. He is a very happy and friendly boy, who loves going on his walks.

He walks well but can be excitable and strong on the lead. His trainer says he is good with children.

Mr Henry has had his dental!

Henry was an absolute superstar during his big dental operation yesterday—he had 22 teeth removed and handled it like a champ! Still a bit groggy afterwards, he headed straight to a loving foster home to rest and recover in comfort.

Henry is a 5-year-old, confident, and incredibly cheerful Greyhound who has spent the last year and a half living happily in a home environment. He’s friendly, laid-back, and full of charm—a true gentleman!

Here’s what makes Henry such a catch:

- House-trained and well-behaved indoors

- Can be left alone at home without fuss

- Gets along beautifully with both male and female Greyhounds

- Loves his walks and is non-reactive around other dogs

Henry is now recovering well and is ready to find his forever home. Could that be with you?

Meet Buzz 💙

The Labrador in a Greyhound Suit

If you’re looking for a dog with the personality of a Labrador but the body of a Greyhound—Buzz might just be your perfect match!

Buzz is full of life, love, and bounce! He’s a happy, enthusiastic soul who adores people, is always up for a cuddle, and thinks food is the best invention ever (closely followed by zoomies).

He has a brilliant character—funny, affectionate, and charmingly goofy. Whether he’s greeting you with a waggy tail or proudly parading around with a toy in his mouth, Buzz is guaranteed to make you smile.

Buzz would love a home where he can enjoy walks, playtime, and plenty of company. He’s such a sociable lad! Buzz is house trained, sleeps well at night, can be left on his own.

FOXY aged 4

Pretty Little Foxy,

Foxy has just come into us but from our initial assessment we can tell she is going to be an affectionate bundle of fun as she has loved spending time with the volunteers so far and is lapping up all the attention given to her. She’s a real showstopper and everyone who has seen her comments on what a beautiful girl she is!

Daybreaks Trust is taking part in the Great Global Greyhound Walk on Sun 28th September. In 2024, over 13,000 greyhounds walked together on the same day. We want to beat that!

Join our Trust dogs at Brueton Park at 11am on Sunday 28th September 2025. Bring your sighthounds so we can add to the grand total. Put the date in your diary! We‘ll see you soon 👋

Show Us Your Beautiful Brindles!

Did you know there wasn’t a single day set aside to celebrate the beauty, charm, and uniqueness of brindle dogs? Well, that changes this year!

Thanks to the thought of Maria and Pete – the wonderful couple behind a sighthound boarding business in Accrington, Lancashire – National Brindle Day is officially being born this Sunday, August 24th! This special date was chosen in honor of their beloved brindle Greyhounds Cielo and Lilly!

Let’s help spread the word and make a global celebration! Share your brindle beauties with us this August 24th. Whether it's a photo, a story, or just a shout-out, let’s show the world why brindle is beautiful.

Here we have featured, our two beautiful blue brindle sisters Ursela and Freya (was Uppy) who were reserved this week to a fantastic family down in South Wales. We are so excited to watch them on their journey into the new life!
