So, we've been a bit quiet on our socials lately and that's because we've been hella busy and we're hoping to update you over the next few days.

One thing that happened last week was that we very nearly lost Rod Stewart. He began, very quickly, displaying difficultly breathing, panting as he exhaled.

Thankfully, Manor Exotics Edgbaston have an amazing team of exotic vets and veterinary nurses, and miraculously, they pulled him back from the brink after a lot of hard work. As he began to improve faster than anyone could have anticipated, the vets were happy to discharge him with intensive aftercare.

We spent the night watching over him and the next day he was wolfing down food and slowly his voice began returning. 2 days later we headed back over to the vets for a full discharge.

It really was a long and upsetting day as the vets worked hard to save him but save him they did. He is still on a course of meds but he's getting stronger every minute and I've never been so happy to be pecked by him πŸ’“

Rod's treatment came to just over a Β£1000 so if anyone can help towards this cost we would be extremely grateful. Even a Β£1 would help us clear this bill.

You can donate to Rod's vet bill through PayPal [email protected] Please select friends and family option πŸ™πŸ»
