Mellow has entered the building..
Great work Andy with over seeing everything 👏
6 long months and finally he's safe .

Stinky pompoms warning ☢️ only just got rid of Brusselsqueak's wonderful aroma 🍒

He's a beautiful BSH... so a lovely surprise 😮 when the recent photos came through I did wonder but thought , nah surely not , must be dilute ginger Tom with moon face but definitely BSH .

Hi you might remember a post recently regarding the stray feral cat ( chips) I was trying to locate in the Harborne area ..
Sadly after days of looking without any sightings his space went to the next one on our list Mellow 😕

It's sods law Chip has turned up , absolutely devastating when this happens 😢

So if any rescues can help me & hold . Please do so. It is an emergency.

Honestly it's relentless...

Please don't inbox me trying to make me feel guilty that I can't help another entire stray Tom straight away 😢
I would if I could, i think about every call i say "your on our list" or no sorry i can't help straight away or even , I can't help at all , staying awake upset ,trying to think of ways to safety fit more in or working out if it financially possible.... it's hard when your a rescuer with a passion to help all living creatures, so please stop with the threats and guilt trips .

In the meantime can I please ask you do your part..

Check for a microchip , its free at any vets, log on lost & found sites ,provide shelter, feed.
Ask RSPCA for a log number towards emergency veterinary costs..

When you see our residents arive or their stories please note they have all waited their turn or arrived as a emergency pushing up the queue.

Not all spaces are suitable for every cat .. we have different pens, units, fosters, catteries.. each having its own specialised niche.

The two Tom's I've posted about recently have both been under my radar for weeks the two previous waited 10 weeks !

He's a very clever boy seeking refuge where continental quilts are skipped haha he even worked out the electric door situation 🤣 "food please he says or ill keep doing it until your cold " 🥶 it's been so long he even trusts some of the employees now, so we'll carry on working with him at PSR to see his exact temperament.

It's all very sad i agree 😔 but long story short , this is the road the family are going down.
Luckily, they are not dumping or giving away on scrumtree !
PSR is just trying to insure a safe out come for this little fella 🐾

My male Yorkshire Terrier is called buddy and will be turning 12 on 27th February this year. He used to need medicated drops for his left eye as he has dry eye but now only needs normal dry eye drops which are cheap as it can be ones humans use which is what the vet has told me since Buddy no longer produces tears. He is fed on grain free . He is fine with cats but hasn't lived with any for a few years. Recently grumpy/had a go at female dogs , think this is due to him getting older and maybe just wanting his own space so if he could be re-homed maybe to a family with no dogs or ones that can give him lots of time and attention he would love that. He is absolutely fine with anyone including kids and loves attention from anyone, he is neutered and up to date with vaccinations & KC vaccination too.

He has been very well loved and I've had him since a puppy but I feel he'd be happier with someone who can give him more time and have his own space away from the other dogs and have someone around majority of the day.

It's taken a while for him to move up our entire stray list, but with the help from the finder, he's safe now.

Most of these beautiful soul arrive shut down completely withdrawn , feral or in I'll health.... so I think we all agreed..... yes this is why we do what we do & you support us ....

I was contacted last week regarding this beautiful fella ... Harborne area !
He's normally around everyday for food apparently but since I've been involved he seems to have disappeared?
Has another rescue got him or know his whereabouts please? I'd say
he needs veterinary care and I expect ear removal asap.. its just heartbreaking 💔
I don't want to spend hours waiting unnecessarily but also don't want to give up .

We are not only helping all the strays but also helping the dogs in service , training rescue dogs as guide dogs, people still need therapy animals .... the bigger picture is shocking .... 🇺🇦

Lorraine Staniek and rotary club. Organising NHS donations and animal donations from us here at PSR.... Also food, equipment & all the transport, you're totally amazing.

Massive thankyou to pooch & Mutt , Clent vets hagley and Helen for sending the warm clothes and coats.

We also share our wonderful donation with several other local rescues 🇬🇧 and, of course, our very lucky PSR pooches plus or 🆘️ families that are facing hardship & finding it difficult to feed their dogs at this time 🇬🇧
