🌟FOUND DOG!!🌟

We've had a dog found around the fields near Walkers Heath Park and brought into us by a kind member of the public who managed to catch them.

Retriever type light coloured, sadly came into us in a very bad state but they are now getting the care they need.

🤍🖤 Sammy and Asher 🤎🤍

These beautiful boys are now looking for their forever home together 😺🐾🏡

Sammy & Asher were rescued from a bad situation by a boarding facility and dog rescue. They were from a multi cat household of indoor entire cats breeding 😥

They have been with us for a few months now and have both grown in so much confidence. Asher (tabby) is a nervous boy but is so loving and gentle. Sammy is a sweet loving boy and is very playful! 🫶🧡

They are looking for a quieter home they can feel safe and relaxed in.

Please read more about them and the home they are looking for on our website and send in an enquiry form if you think you can offer them a suitable home 🏡🐾.....

Meet Simba 🐈‍⬛🧡

Beautiful panther Simba arrived at the sanctuary a few weeks ago after he was surrendered into our care. Sadly Simba was very stressed around the young child in the home and although his owners really tried, it was in his best interests to be rehomed. (Please no negative comments!)

It is important to understand that Simba's situation is one of the reasons why we have rehoming criteria. Many animals do not cope around young children and end up in rescues so of course when rehoming them we WILL be placing them into either adult only homes or homes with older children only depending on the individual animal.

Simba is a nervous and sensitive boy but is even more sweet and loving 🥰. It has taken him time to settle with us but he is starting to slowly come out of his shell now and is enjoying cuddles and his food! His a big boy!

Simba will need a quiet, pet free home with safe outdoor access where he can feel happy and content in, so if you think you can provide a loving home for this boy then keep an eye on our page and website as Simba will soon be ready to find his special forever home 🏡🫶🐱
(No enquiries yet please)

😝 Tongue out Tuesday from our handsome old man Bob🐾🧡

Bob is still with us and looking for a foster or adoptive home🏡

He certainly is still a character and everything has to be on his terms and go his way or else!!! But we can't help but love this funny and loving boy just look at that face🥰

Due to Bob's health conditions and cheeky behaviour he is also one of our dogs available to sponsor🧡
We keep him available to foster or adore with hope one day he might find a home with a very special person that can love him with all his naughtiness 🙈
But either way he always will have a home here with us where he is loved for the monkey he is🧡🧡🧡

He has his carers & volunteers very well trained now and they know his favourite treats and toys 😁 and when he allows his favourite spots for a fuss or a rare cuddle 🥰 and on a very good day he will show he loves us back with little kisses and showing you his toys ( it don't you dare try and take them!🤣)

Bob is on several daily medications and ongoing management to care for his health issues with his bad joints & spine, breathing & eye conditions to make sure he live his life as comfortably as possible🧡

It took a while but he now knows his treatments help him feel better and he begrudgingly gets out of bed good as gold so his carers can give him his treatments 🧡

Please consider Sponsoring or cheeky little Bob 😁 to help us as we continue giving him all the love and support this special boy needs🧡

Our lovely Espen had to have surgery last week to amputate the end of his tail after he had an ongoing habit of nibbling at it 😬.
We had managed to stop him from continuing to do this when he was younger after this habit stemmed from the traumas of the pox virus he had. He ended up just chewing the fur but a few months ago he made it really sore again causing further nerve damage.
Espen had a lovely long tail to match his tall lanky body 😁.

Cats use their tails for balance, communication and warmth 🫶🐈‍⬛ so of course it is important that we try to save his tail if we can.

Espen has once again shown how brave he is and still wants cuddles and loves of his carers even whilst wearing the horrible cone 🥹❤️

Please send your positive well wishes and support to our lovely Espen whilst he recovers and heals 🙏🧡🐱

🐕Frank was comfy and all snuggled up in the little hut so when it was his turn for his walk he thought he would just stay in bed snoozing!!!😴

It took some bribery & motivational talks 🙈 to get him up and out then he went at top speed on his walk in the field and rushed back to his comfy bed as soon as he was out back in the paddock!!!

While he does enjoy his walks and a good play of tug or tumble Frank really really loves his naps 🤣

Want a friend you can chill on the sofa with? (If there's any room left🤣) Frank is your boy!
He just needs that special someone willing to put in the time and get to know him and work with his carers to get him into his forever home🏡

Read more about him on our website
https://www.wythallanimalsanctuary.org/dogs/frank

24/01/2025

Frank is still looking for his forever home🏡 with no applications for him for over 6 months!!!

We just wish someone would be willing to see him for the beautiful dog he is once you get to know him🧡

🐾He does need a specific home due to some of his behaviours but once he has bonded with you he is the most chilled coach potato🥔😁 who loves a good rough and tumble with his toys!!!

🧡 Adult only home
🧡 Could potentially live with a calm (preferably female) dog pending on meets
🧡 Can be left up to 4 hours ( especially when he's fast asleep practicing his baked potato impression sunbathing in a comfy spot)
🧡 Not cats / small animals

Please read more about him on our website and if you are interested in adopting please complete his "Enquire about me" form with as much information as possible 🧡

🐈⭐️ HELP WANTED ⭐️🐈

Would any of our supporters be able to help us with some cat proof netting for our outdoor cat area please?

Many of our supporters will remember us sharing stories about our resident cats who lived in our lovely outdoor space we called The Mews. It’s a very special area of the Sanctuary that provides a safe space with heated sheds, warm beds, natural enrichment and a place to call home for feral cats or cats that aren’t suited to our indoor cattery environment 🧡

At the moment we aren’t able to use this space sadly as our current netting isn’t secure enough.

Ideally we would be looking for a company who may be able to help us with supplying the netting and fitting if it possible 🙏

If anyone is able to help we would really appreciate it 🧡

Photo of our beautiful boy Felix who was one of our resident cats for many years until he passed away a few years ago. He loved his outdoor life and stealing food whenever he got the chance! 🥰

Do you have room in your home and heart for a bonded TRIO of 5 month old kittens? 🐈🐈🐈❤️

Elphaba, Rocket & Boomerang are now ready to find their forever home and we would love nothing more for them to stay together as they are all so very bonded 🫶🥹.
We know it is a big ask but we have to try first because there may well be a suitable home out there for these three beauties together 🙏

You may remember Elphaba was introduced to brothers Rocket and Boomerang when they were all only a few months old. They instantly hit it off and have been the loveable dynamic trio of mischief and fun ever since 🤭🧡

If you think you could possibly give them a home together then please read more about them and the home they are looking for on our website....https://www.wythallanimalsanctuary.org/cats/elphabarocketboomerang 🐾

(Of course we do not want to hold them back so if they do need to be rehomed separately then Elphaba will look for a home separate to the boys but will still need a home with another young cat she can make friends with).

🐾Joey is looking for a foster home while he waits to find his perfect forever home🧡

At just 6 months old he still has lots to learn so we are looking for a foster home who would love to continue the training we have been doing with him to help shape him into the sweet BFG this boy is going to grow into 🐕

Joey is going to be a BIG dog once he's grown up so we want to make sure his adoptive home is right for him and can give him everything he needs.

Sadly large dogs are often seen to have a bad reputation because of stories in the media as well as irresponsible & uneducated owners and yet sadly the dogs are the ones who too often get the blame😓

This can make it challenging at times to find the right homes for larger breed dogs where all their social, exercise and training needs can be met🐾

So until we find Joey his forever home match we are hoping for someone who loves training and who would be happy to work with Joey's carer to follow his training plan & give him lots of positive experiences in a home and he'll set him up for long term success🧡

🐾Luckily Joey absolutely loves to learn 😁 and has already been doing so well with his training here at the Sanctuary but we of course would love to find a foster home at this important stage of socialising, building his confidence & positive experiences.

Joey is looking for a foster home with:

🐾 Someone around most of the day (will need to work up to being left longer, currently could be left up to 30 mins and with work over a few weeks he could be left up to a couple of hours)
🧡 A home with a secure garden with 6 ft fencing
🐾 Someone with a love for training & puppy & large dog experience
🧡 Adults home (can go with older children 16+)
🐾 Can live with an existing calm or playful dog that can help be his role model ***Must be fully vaccinated, neutered & ok with dogs
🧡 No cats or small animals

🌟Read more about him on our website and if you would be interested in fostering Joey or being his forever home (foster to adopt) please complete his "Enquire about me" form with as much information as possible 🌟
