Oh Chopper you are so beautiful! 🐇 🧡
We recently shared how Chopper arrived in our care. He has settled in with us well and is a sweet boy 🫶
(Please note- Chopper is not yet ready for rehoming)
🐈Beautiful Ruby is waiting patiently for a home but has not yet received one interest 😥
Ruby is an older girl around 14 years old and is looking for her forever home in foster due to having hyperthyroidism and being on medication for the rest of her life (fostering Ruby means the sanctuary will continue to cover her veterinary costs while you provide a loving retirement home).
Ruby is a sweet girl and enjoys affection on her terms. She enjoys her meal times and chilling in her favourite bed but she isn't the happiest in our cattery and does really need to be in a home now.
Ruby would prefer a pet free home and needs to be an indoor cat.
Could you offer Ruby a home? Please read more about her and complete an enquiry form if you think you can offer Ruby the home she is looking for....

Meet Tato 🥔 😻
Tato is a stray boy that came into us yesterday after he had been waiting patiently for rescue space.
Unsurprisingly he is an entire male and is NOT chipped! 😔
Typically many stray cats end up underweight but Tato is actually overweight as he has had a number of feeders from where he came from.
The people that reached out to us said his been hanging around since June and would cry outside to get indoors particularly in the cold and rain ❄️ 🌧️😥
As soon as Tato arrived with us and was put into his pen he immediately went into his bed and curled up which made his carer tear up with how content he already looked 🥹
Considering we were told not many of the neighbours could touch him, it was so lovely to see him so relaxed and enjoying some fusses so quickly 🥺🥰
He just wanted to be warm, loved and feel safe and comfortable. He should not have been left to get in this position in the first place!
⭐We want to take this opportunity to say FEEDING A STRAY is not enough! 💔
Tato has been overfed causing him to be overweight which can cause health problems.
If this was the case whilst outside then who would have treated this at the vets? The feeders? Probably not.
Strays require more than just food, they need shelter, veterinary care and someone to truly look out for them and all their needs.
Tato is now on a diet to shift some of that weight and make him feel healthier and more comfortable. He is due to go to the vets for his health check and will be neutered as soon as possible too.
We will share another Tato update soon 🖤🤍
😺 Two years ago to this day Asta & Espen arrived at the sanctuary in our care after they were rescued off the streets at 10 weeks old before fighting through the horrible Illness they had 🥹
They have spent most of their life in rescue and have never had a proper home 😥
What they went through as kittens left them with some physical and mental trauma which means they are looking for a specific home. We won't settle on any home as it has to be right for them ❤️
Whilst they are with us we try to provide them with as much home comforts and love as they would get in a loving home but of course it is not the same.
We are so hopeful that in the new year Asta & Espen will find their special forever home they have been waiting so long for 🙏🧡
You can read more about them on our website.... https://www.wythallanimalsanctuary.org/cats/astaespen 🐾🐾
