Adopt don't shop!

A heart-felt plea from Lynne - TCR coordinator ...

Meow – where have all the would-be cat and kitten adopters gone? We’re really puzzled here at Team Cat Rescue as we’ve not had an enquiry for a magical moggie to make life purrfect since mid-April. We’ve checked the telephone line (0121 373 4596) and we know it’s working because we’ve had so many calls from people wanting to relinquish a cat rather than take one on. And of course, we can’t take a cat into foster care until a cat goes off to its new home. We know times are hard for some, what with energy bills and the cost-of-living. But lets not forget the joy-of-loving. Cats bring so much happiness as all our followers and supporters know. Please ask your friends, family, neighbours and work-mates to consider adopting NOW! The world worries us all – but all a cat needs is a warm welcome in the heart of your home.

**Alternative home needed**

Do you have a stables, barn or any shelter for this girl to call home?

This poor girl was taken into the animal hospital after being found in a school cupboard with her 4 newborn kittens.
Unfortuntely due to the stress of the move and environment she has now rejected the kittens so they have been placed in foster care.

She is clearly used to an independent outdoor lifestyle so we're keen to place her quickly. She has now been neutered and Felv/FIV tested - Negative

Valentine's Day is soon upon us and like many, you may be considering finding the purrfect bouquet for your loved one 💐💕

⚠️ Most bouquets may contain dangerous plants such as lilies or chrysanthemum’s, which are harmful to cats! ⚠️

Remember to check what’s in your bouquet ⬇️

toilet around the house? 🐈

There are many reasons as to why your cat is toileting outside of the designated spots. We always recommend taking your cat for a vet check before intervening. Should your vet give the all clear, here’s how to create the purrfect loo for your cat and stop them going elsewhere...

🚽 They want a more private location, away from their bed, food and water bowls.
🚽 Offer different types of litter and let them choose a favourite!
🚽 The bigger the tray, the better!
🚽 Provide one tray per cat and ideally one spare!
🚽 Keep it clean!

My friend Megan has had a stray cat coming round her house for a few months, who they thought was pregnant but unfortunately couldn't get close enough to trap... Today the little momma just walked into their house to give birth! 4 little kittens later and all is well 😀🥰 Mum and kittens have new homes in the pipeline, so a happy ending for all ❤❤❤🐈🐈🐈🐱🐱
