2024 updated terms and conditions.
Pets are accepted for grooming only under the following circumstances:
After consulting with the owner we deem the pet to be fit and healthy. If the grooming takes place on an elderly or infirm pet it will be at the owner's risk. Grooming may expose pre-existing health\skin conditions for which Linella will not be held liable.
In the event of an emergency, we will endeavour to reach you by phone, but we reserve the right to contact the nearest Vets and authorise the Vet to treat the pet as necessary at your expense unless proven we have caused a problem.
Payment is to be made at the time of service. Payment can be cash or cheque, card payment is no longer an option due to high service costs.
De-matting or complete coat removal will incur an extra charge.This will be dependant of severity and cost will be discussed prior to grooming. This could dramatically alter your pet's appearance. This procedure may expose pre-existing health\skin problems as stated above.
Cancellation and rescheduling of an appointment, by the client, requires 48 hours notice to waive the FULL appointment fee. Exceptions can be made in extreme circumstances.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a groom if we feel the need to do so. Every effort will be made to reschedule at a time convenient for both the client and groomer.
I will hold your spot open for 15 minutes in the even of a delay. After this time your appointment will be cancelled and a no show fee will need to be paid before rebooking.
It is considered a "no-show" when the client is not present at the scheduled appointment time and does not contact to cancel or reschedule.
I reserve the right to charge the FULL grooming fee due to the loss of revenue caused by a "no-show".
In the event that fleas are found on your dog an extra charge will be added to the groom depending on the size of the dog. If you are aware the dog has fleas we expect to be informed on drop off so precautions can be taken.
Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your grooming time unless you have contacted me and made arrangements to do so. Client drop off and pick up times have been arranged in order to minimise the overlapping of appointments as much as possible. We will give you a rough pick up time on arrival and will message 15-20 minutes before the groom is complete. Dogs must be picked up within a reasonable time after the call to avoid overlapping of other grooms or an addition charge may be made.
We strongly advise all clients to re book before leaving the salon to avoid disappointment. At the moment we are booking about 4 weeks in advance as no appointments are available before then.
