Thank you so much to each and every one of you who donated!! We have done the drop off in two trips. We was greeted By Baker the long haired French Bulldog who I believe has a pending home.. but so many more looking for their forever homes! Thank you so much… Birmingham Dogs home was truly thankful. Tips for how to keep your dog safe while walking in low light 🐕🌃

🐶 Keep your dog on a lead - Keeping your dog on a lead means you know where they are at all times and you will have more control if your dog becomes scared.
🐶 Reflective accessories - If your dog wears a coat these can be bought with reflective patches or if you prefer your could get them a reflective collar or harness to wear.
🐶 Light up collars of LED lights - Light up collars and/or clip on LED lights should be used in addition to your dogs usual collar or harness but are a great way to make your dog more easily seen in low light.

As an owner it's important to try to remember to take your mobile phone or carry a torch with you if walking your dog at night or in low light areas, Where possible we would also recommend walking with a family member or friend as the darker nights draw in.
