Full Time & Part Time groom vacancies :
We are looking for a full time home / show groom to join our small team of horses and livery yard.
Must be experienced in all general yard duties and be able to work at a professional level.
Show jumping experience & good flat work is a plus 😄

Good sense of humour and genuine love for horses a must.

Duties will include :

All yard tasks
Grooming & Clipping
Feeding / giving meds
Handling young stock
Broodmares
Lunging
Riding
Shows UK & Abroad
Sole charge of yard

Full time 37 hours 5 days
Part time 16 hours 2 days

On scene within 15 mins of the call, before the police and well before the breakdown company

After a breakdown on the A1 today we swiftly collected a beautiful mare who was on her way to a show and quickly and safely unloaded and loaded onto our 2 Staller and took her home

Thanks to efficient work from Equine Rescue Services they sent details and location and we managed to get the horse to safety very quickly

The owners of the mare said she wasn’t a huge fan of a 2 Staller due to her size (17.2) but after a very smooth ride home they are confident she will be happy to travel in one again

Another happy customer 😊

A weekend home groom - general yard duties

A show groom , all show duties to include all away shows UK and abroad. Experience ideal but not essential. Potential to bring your own horse.

Apprentice Groom - online apprenticeship with Haddon training to cover all aspects of yard & show duties with optional riding.
