Thank you to everyone who donated towards our feral cat fund 🐈‍⬛ we got one female spayed today, she also received an antibiotic injection for a wound on her back, she is currently recovering in a crate with a donut collar to stop her from over grooming near the wound and also the spay site. We have one more cat to trap in the area she is from so hopefully we will catch her on Saturday then we can continue to do the rest of the colony in Leeholme. We want to also thank people who have dropped off donations of food, litter, toys and raffle prizes in the last week. Much appreciated.

Feral cat spayed, she has a wound on her back that she has been over grooming so she's had antibiotics. The vets have advised to keep her with us until it's started to heal before releasing 🐈‍⬛

We are still continuing to TNR the feral colonies in Coundon and Leeholme but we need help with funds to continue doing this. We have plans in place to neuter 3 feral cats this week but then our feral funds will be low. Any donations are much appreciated. Thank you.

Believe it or not, the state of your pet’s feeding and drinking dishes play a crucial role in their overall health. Dirty bowls are a breeding ground for harmful bacteria. Wash and scrub their water and food dishes with hot soapy water. Running them through the dishwasher’s hottest cycle to get them clean and sanitized is even more effective.

We thought you would all like to see how well Big Daddy is doing in his new home 🥰 he is enjoying going out in the catio 🐈‍⬛ as many of you will remember Big Daddy was supposed to be a TNR cat but he was far too tame to put back out on the streets and we later learned he was abandoned 💔 now he has a lovely forever home 🏡

We just wanted to let everyone know that we are currently at capacity for taking in stray cats and kittens. Our main focus right now is to TNR the feral colonies in our area and we want to put as much of our time into this as possible.

We ask that if you need help with a stray cat that you please reach out to other rescues via CatChat.

Donations are still very much needed to allow us to carry on helping the feral colonies, and to look after the current cats in our rescue. It helps us to get them neutered as well as provide food and purchase much needed equipment.
When our current circumstances change and we are able to take in more cats we will update you straight away.
We simply do not have the SPACE currently 😔

Some of our cats that are currently available for adoption. All of our cats are neutered, microchipped and vaccinated before going to their forever homes 🏡🐈‍⬛

We are an indoor only rescue (cat proof garden or access to catio is fine)

We are based in Coundon, Bishop Auckland and re-home within the North East.
