Thank you πββ¬π€
We are a small cat rescue based in Coundon, Bishop Auckland, County Durham.
Thank you πββ¬π€
Klaus πββ¬π€
Klaus came into rescue from a local veterinary clinic, he had been handed in as a stray with a cat bite abscess on his tail, he received treatment but then sadly had no where to go so we were contacted and he came into our care.
He is a very friendly and approachable cat who would love nothing more than a nice sofa or human lap to snooze on, when he's not sleeping he likes to play with his catnip toy. Klaus however like a lot of entire tom cats who have spent time on the streets can become quite rough with other cats so because of this Klaus is looking for a home where he will be the only pet.
As with all our cats Klaus is neutered, microchipped and will be vaccinated before going to his forever home.
β Indoor only or access to cat proof garden or catio
βneutered
βmicrochipped
βvaccinated
β Not dog tested
β Must be the only cat in the household
If you're interested in adopting Klaus please message us for an adoption questionnaire.
Home check and adoption fee apply. We are based in Bishop Auckland, County Durham and re-home within the North East.
Wasabi came into our care after being found living in a shed with his siblings and mother Georgina by a kind member of the public who alerted us to them.
Wasabi is a very friendly cat who loves nothing more that cuddling up and being stroked. He is very playful and loves getting up to mischief with his sister Sushi.
Wasabi would ideally like to be adopted with his sister Sushi or be adopted into a home with another friendly young cat. He is around one year old.
β neutered
β vaccinated
βflea and worm treated
βvet checked
βnot dog tested
β can live with older children
β indoor only home or home with a catio.
If you are interested in adopting Wasabi or Wasabi and Sushi please message us directly. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. We are based in Bishop Auckland, County Durham and re-home within the North East.
Introducing Ebony for adoption π‘πββ¬
Ebony came into our care after her owner could sadly no longer look after her. She spent 1 month in a local veterinary practice being nursed back to health before coming to us.
She is a very friendly, loving cat who can live with other friendly cats but is equally happy to have humans to herself. She is very cuddly and loves nothing more than sitting on your lap in front of the TV after having zoomies.
Ebony will go to her new home neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. She is also up to date with prescription flea and worm treatment.
Due to digestive issues Ebony is on a raw food only diet which MUST be something her new owner is happy to continue feeding.
β Indoor only home or access to cat proof garden or catio
βNot dog tested
βCan live with other friendly cats
βNeutered
β Microchipped
βVaccinated
β Up to date with flea and worm treatment
Home check and adoption fee apply. Please message us if you are interested in adopting Ebony. We are based in Bishop Auckland, County Durham and re-home within the North East area.

As many of you know we recently purchased a catio for our feral cats. Over the last few weeks our cat proof fencing has become compromised with one of our cats escaping, we also have a local tom cat visiting and last time that happened our fencing was damaged which caused two of our cats to escape. Thankfully they all returned safely. However we would like to raise the funds to build a catio for our other rescue cats to allow them 100% safe outdoor access.
if you can please donate towards this we would really appreciate it πββ¬
Thank you.

We would just like to reiterate once again that we are unable to take unwanted pet cats into rescue. We have to prioritise stray and feral cats. We currently have just under 40 cats in our home including our own. We are not a rescue/rehoming centre, the rescue is based in our home.
When we are at capacity we are unable to squeeze "just one more in" The cats currently in our care and our own cats take priority as the rescue has an effect on them too.
Unfortunately adoptions are few and far between, but that is the case for rescues up and down the country at the moment.
The best thing you can do to support your local rescue is please make sure your cats are neutered and chipped πββ¬
The winner of the Monty Bojangles Pink Cat is Mandy Wilkie! Congratulations! π©·πββ¬

πββ¬π€ again we are always in need of wet cat food as we go through 500+ pouches/tins a week. All donations are much appreciated. Thank you.
Sabrina's urine sample showed nothing of any concern so the vet suspects she has stress related cystitis. We have Feliway Cystease capsules for her and will continue to keep an eye on her. We have a donut collar on the way to hopefully stop her from over grooming. We've also added some Feliway plug-ins to our wishlist to try and help her too.

Our hospitalisation carrier is here πββ¬ this will allow us to house ferals prior to neutering and releasing them. Thank you to everyone who donated towards it. Had a few teething problems with the website being down and then had to wait 11 days for it to be delivered but it's finally here!

Mango and Georgina enjoying sun puddles in their foster home 𧑠it's so nice to see Mango so relaxed especially after years of living on the streets having litter after litter πββ¬
Benny went missing from Catterick in April 2023 and is still missing. Catterick is around half an hour from us but it is possible he could have gotten into a vehicle and could be anywhere. Please share! πββ¬π€
Sabrina is absolutely stunning and such a loving cat... She has been in our care since she was a tiny kitten... Yet not one application form filled in for her πββ¬π
Excuse the floor (we haven't hoovered yet) but Berlioz and Sabrina are loving playing with the cardboard box that arrived full of cat beds from ginger cat crafts π
ππ»π Twinkle π π»π Twinkle is becoming more confident now. We just know sheβs going to be a sassy princess!!
We're not sure this is what the Catit water fountain is for but who can stop Luna having so much fun? π€¦π»ββοΈπ
This evening Tabitha and Aslan tucked into some Hills Urgent Care wet food and now they're having some Encore chicken with brown rice which is the most they've eaten the last few days π antibiotics working their magic once again.
Jelly Tot enjoying some royal canin kitten milk with chicken πββ¬ right after this she also had some Lily's Kitchen kitten patΓ© π
Teddy had a trip to the vets this afternoon as he had a tick on his head and we've never had a tick on any of our cats before! Thank you to the very kind nurse at Wilson's Bishop Auckland for removing it πββ¬ he is now having a snooze in the dining room. He is walking a lot better on his leg and no longer limping so the loxicom seems to be doing it's job π
