⚠️Grass seed season!⚠️
When you arrive back home, please search your dog’s fur for grass seeds like the one in the picture.
Ears and feet are the most common places.
And if your dog is suddenly very uncomfortable with his ear/s or licking one foot obsessively, please ring your vet as soon as possible. Grass seeds cause terrible damage and pain when they burrow themselves!

Due to one of my lovely clients relocating; I have 1 space available for a 30 min pop in visit between the time of 11am and 2pm 🙂.

The 30 minutes can be spent as a walk, cuddles and play time at home or a mixture of both; depending on your dog’s needs 🐶

Due to one of my lovely client’s family circumstances changing, I now have availability on my small dog group walk (unfortunately no dogs bigger than a cockerpoo kind of size). This group is extremely playful, so the new dog must love to run and play ❤️.

Unfortunately, in order to hold a place on group walks - your dog must come on at least 3 walks per week with us.

Really amazing group of dogs, walked in maximum groups of 4.

With Christmas fast approaching, we wanted to talk about rawhide dog treats/toys.
Although they might look very festive, rawhide can be quite dangerous to your dog…
Let’s talk about where rawhide comes from;
• rawhide is essentially the skin of animals, most commonly cattle or pork
• the skin is soaked and treated with many chemicals such as hydrogen peroxide and bleach to remove hair and fat, remove leather odours and to help with preservation.
• colourings, and sometimes flavours, are added which is where the bright colours come from that catch your eye in a pet shop.
We would advise you to avoid buying and giving these treats for many reasons as they can cause a lot of serious medical problems in dogs such as choke and intestinal blockages.
In most cases, intestinal blockages can only be repaired by surgical removal which is a great risk for your dog.
Keep your pets safe this Christmas and give alternatives as treats rather than rawhide

Due to space, I am unable to take on any more ad-hoc clients, so the visits would need to be a minimum of twice per week to hold your slot. I am unfortunately not able to walk large dogs at the moment 🐕.

Xylitol is now being marketed as Birch sugar. This ingredient is highly toxic to dogs so please check the labels of any human food you feed your pups.

If you think your pup has ingested Xylitol, please call your local vet for further direction ASAP.

I’ve been walking Big Buddy (as I call him because I also have a little Buddy) for 1 year this month! And I absolutely adore him! He keeps me on my toes and makes sure I keep my fitness up with our games, but he also LOVES a cuddle and a fuss! Thanks for always making me laugh Buddy ❤️🐕‍🦺
