DATA PROTECTION ACT (GDPR)
This new act now requires that I inform all clients about the information I keep about them and their dogs,how I use and store this information. Under no circumstances do I ever share any client details with a third party. The only information stored is the clients first name, their contact number, an address - only when circumstances require it, their dog or dogs names and any essential information regarding any special health requirements that need to be considered during grooming -,blade or comb attachment size used on their dog during grooming. Contact numbers are stored on a mobile phone for contact purposes only. Along with all other information contact numbers are also recorded by hand in a book which is stored in my safe when not in use. New client data is not stored until they make a return visit. Data held on existing clients is automatically erased if I have not seen them for a period of 12mths.

It is important to bring puppies to a groomer from a early age. This enables them to get used to all the things they will experience during a groom. Younger puppies cope much better with a first groom than older puppies. Brodie was 16 wks old when he first came to us. Because of his early education he progressed in to his first big boy groom in a relaxed and happy manner. Well done Brodie 🤗🤗🤗🤗

Advanced warning Topknots will close for business for a holiday from Friday October 13th - Saturday October 28th.Due to increasing demand for Saturday apps the only availability now is September 16th/23rd afternoons only, otherwise first available Saturday app is November 11th afternoon only. There are still limited week day afternoons available between Thursday October 5th to October 10th. We do still have some availability for September but please bear in mind we are currently fully booked until Wednesday September 13th.
