Drum roll please! Massive 🎊congratulations 🎊 to Jamie, Jack and Nugget who passed 🥈 Silver 🥈 last night! Nugget’s progression from a bouncy teenager to the dog he is now has been a pleasure to watch! (He does still bounce at times 🤣)

Jamie and Jack have been dedicated to his training and his retrieves and leaves are now outstanding!

With Christmas coming up here is a reminder of some of the foods that are poisonous to dogs:

🥧 Christmas pudding / mince pies
🍫 Chocolate
🧅 Onions (inc. leeks, shallots, chives)
🍻Alcohol
🌰 Macadamia nuts
🍬 Sweets

Also be wary of giving leftover as there could be hidden toxins.

Most of you are probably aware of most of these but did you know that some Christmas plants are also poisonous to dogs:

Poinsettia, Holly, Mistletoe, Ivy, Potpourri

Teaching our dogs to settle is an important skill to master. It teaches your dog when it is time to switch off, whether that be at home, in between exercises in class or when you are out. Here we have Honey who is only 4 1/2 months old and in training to be an Assistance Dog, settling in a garden centre, with people and other dogs around while mum enjoys a well deserved cuppa! Great work 😊

Huge congratulations to Issy, Will and Barry who passed 🥉 Bronze 🥉last night! We were just waiting on that last stay which he smashed last night (and was longer than criteria because I forgot to tell them to return on time 🤣).
Barry has hit adolescence running and Issy is working hard on his training through this stage. We are all looking forward to seeing you progress through Silver! Well done 🥳
