Some of my most favourite autumnal pictures ove taken recently how beautiful are these lot I will miss all the leaves and the colours once winter arrives properly!

That's a wrap for me now we are closed until Monday 28th when I re-open at 9am so please send your requests for that week to me if you need something that's not your usual as I am VERY VERY busy that week with only 2 slots left all week!

A Walkers Lament

When the sun is a'shinin
From the public we hear
"Your job looks amazin"
But we shudder wi' fear

'Cos though we're aww tanned
Shorts n T-shirts the lot
We know wi' no doubt
It's no often this hot

School holidays finish
And in the blink of an eye
Halloween is upon us
There's no blue in the sky

We remember warm sunshine
That's long gone, what a sin
And we reach for oor jumpers
As the nights they draw in

The leads are aw soakin'
Fingers covered in mud
Favourite walks are aw mawkit
What a drag, what a dud

The rain pours an' it pours
We're aw soaked ti the pants
Even wi the best oil skins
We'd stand nae bloody chance

And then comes the ice
Wi' yer dugs all a'pullin
You're tryin to stay calm
But there's noone your foolin'

You slip an' you slide
In the slush and the mud
An afore you know it
You're on the ground, wi a thud

We've not mentioned that wind
Always blowin' a hoolie
You bought a windproof jacket....
Ha, don't let that fool yi

But still we keep smilin'
Through the harsh winters dance
Would we change this job for another?
You're jokin' no chance

So the public are right,
And our job it is great
Well until the next downpour
Then it's "oh for F* sake

Today was a VERY VERY soggy day 🙃 😪 take me back to last week and the week before 🤣🤣 anyway it didn't stop us even though some were digging their paws in at first their Tails were wagging by the end ❤️

And that's the end of another busy week and mega busy day today not all dogs pictures can be shared but here are the ones that I have permission for!

I am exhausted and ready for a rest and re-charge before back to it again next week! 😴
