Lupin the skunk running into the weekend………..
Hi guys, it’s Yoda here!
Uncle Bailey took me to see a lady called the vet she was very nice to me and she gave uncle Bailey a special shampoo as well as some pills. I don’t like them but I have to have them.
The shampoo makes my skin feel so much better and I even got to go to the Dog salon where uncle Bailey did my nails and expressed my anal glands 🤪
I think we might be making a little bit of progress ❤️❤️
Last night, me and Louise travelled to Nottingham we didn’t get back till 1 o’clock this morning
Why did we do that?
Because Rocky needed us !
Rockys’s owners were at a complete loss of what to do with him for the first six months of his life he had not been socialised and it really has taken a toll on him. The last option was to euthanise him a friend at another rescue reached out to ask if I could save him.
we hopped in the car and Rockys’s journey is just beginning.

( fyi my floor was mopped half an hour ago not that you could tell🤣)
It’s still very early days with Oscar, but he is doing absolutely amazing. I think he’s now understanding he doesn’t have to be scared. Nobody is going to hurt him. On our walk, we went past men, bikes, cars and children just to name a few and he didn’t seem fussed at all.
He needs his second vaccination in four weeks time then he will be looking for his forever home I need to be realistic I love all the animals that come through the sanctuary and that’s why it’s my job to find them a home where they will thrive.
Oscar ideally needs a home in a quiet household and somebody who isn’t going to leave him for long periods of time ( somebody who is retired would be ideal for Oscar) . It would be perfect  if you also had another dog because he seems to thrive from having a little buddy around. I’m just planting the seed to see if we have any potential adopters out there!

I’ve re named ozzy to Oscar as it seemed he had a lot of negative association with his old name.
We are just in the vets waiting for them to come and sedate him they kindly popped us in a nice quiet room so it’s not too overwhelming for him ❤️❤️❤️

Ozzy is definitely more settled this evening.
All the behaviours he’s showing he is politely asking uncle Bailey to give him space so space is what Ozzy got.
He is booked in for castration on Friday with Tessa at my vets. She has kindly reduced the cost for us at £185.50
