🫧 Meet Ronnie the Cavapoo puppy who is all of a sudden looking very grown up 🫧 Ronnie has been coming since he was a tiny puppy so that he could get used to the process of being groomed without being fearful of it. To do this Ronnie’s parents used the Puppy package. The puppy Package is £80 for 3 appointments with me. Appointment 1: Bath and dry and lots of fun playtime Appointment 2: Bath and dry, trim round the eyes, feet and face and sanitary trim. Appointment 3: First full groom appointment to do as much as they will allow Ronnie has grown massively in confidence using this package so that he knew what was expected of him. By appointment 3 your dog will not be perfect but will have a good base ground for the grooming process. As shown Ronnie was still not comfortable with me touching his legs however, by appointment 4 he wasn’t bothered in the slightest. Well November 1st 2022 is where it all began. Bath & Bark is officially One Year old today. Never did I expect it to grow so fast and to be fully booked a month in advance all year round. I also never expected that I would leave my full time job within the first year. Bath & Bark exceeded my expectations and it is all thanks to the local groomers that became my friends and helped me along the way but most of all my clients. 🫧 Ted 🫧 Look at this brave boy. For anyone that has been watching me social media for a while you will know that Ted is a rescue and a very nervous boy. His mum used to bring him with a muzzle as he is extremely fearful and can snap. When Ted first moved to Bath & Bark after his previous groomers closing we had to take it slow, he didn’t know me or trust me and I had to learn him. Ted attended multiple free visits before his first groom, this allowed him to see and smell the salon without anything happening to him. During these visits sometime his mum would stay and others she wouldn’t so he saw me as a safe space, I never approached him and would only treat him when he came over to me. Patience was key 🥰 I wanted Ted to settle and it was important to me that we didn’t scare him. Fast forward 6 months and this boy is the softest boy ever. He is still nervous and we take it very slow but we can now spend time together without the muzzle. He loves cheese and will do all his tricks for me just to get it and most importantly we always get after groom cuddles. I am so proud of this boy and how far he has come. Having a one-to-one salon really benefits dogs like Ted. They need a calm quiet environment where the groomer can dedicate as much time as possible towards them and know that they are safe 🫧 Bath & Bark provides this. Bailey is back for his 3rd groom. Bailey is the softest dog ever until you go near his legs. This takes time and patience and plenty of breaks to complete but we work through it together. The groom being complete means it’s play time though, everytime he comes the whole basket of toys is dragged out on the groomers garden. We love playtime together.
