Well that’s Mr Edward off home after a month with me. I can honestly say I will miss the big dinosaur being with me he’s been an absolute dream to have and has not put 1 single foot wrong.

He’s been to arena hires, to the pub, endless hacks leading the babies out. Very excited to see how his owners progress with him the world is your oyster

My main man has got his ticket for STARS at Aintree this year. We’ve worked hard all year and he’s been unbeaten at both local and county level.

Few more county’s to wind down the year then STARS in November before we bunker down for Santa and a cold winter.

Next year he will not show. I will be breaking him in and he will spend the year going out doing nice things under saddle with no pressure whatsoever and will come back out as a novice 5 year old under saddle at which point we will decide if he will be taken down an eventing route or a HOYS workers route. Either way his future is extremely bright.

Huge huge shout out to The Country Physio coming out today to give the main man a once over. He may only be 3 but is having huge growth spurts so we need to make sure his muscles are developing strong and even ready to back him over the winter in to next year. Mr Edward ❤️ who is with us on sales livery and is being an absolute dream……all 17hh of him. He’s been out hacking to start to build up his muscles, we are extremely lucky to have fantastic hacking from our yard. He’s been out to arena hires too so we can confidently say how he will behave in as many situations as possible. As you can see all horses that come to me are treated as 1 of my own at all times and he’s loving it.

Another weekend another show and this time the main man bagged himself another sash winning his youngstock class and then going on to take overall in-hand champion of the day.

This will be his last season in hand, he will be broken in slowly over the next year as a 4 year old and have a year of doing nice things with no pressure. He has absolutely nothing to prove in the show ring.

An old video now but 1 I’m still very fond of. A beautiful TB I bought straight off the track and retrained. She was a superstar. Every horse that comes to me is treated as 1 of my own and everything is done in a kind and gentle way

Top Tip: when longreining either on a circle or straight use 2 different coloured lines so it’s easier to identify which 1 you have in your hands without having to look down constantly, especially with youngsters just learning 🔴🔵

HLB Equestrian will have 1 stable available for full/ schooling/ sales livery from August
Please message or call to discuss.

To include the following:

* Full muck/ skip out 7 days a week
* Unlimited hay/haylage
* AM/PM basic feeds
* All year turnout
* Fully rubber matted airy stables
* Full bathing facilities
* Solarium
* Rug changes/ feet picked out daily
* Exercising
* Secure tack rooms
* Daily grooming
* Handling for vet/ farrier/ dentist etc
* Show preparations

All horses are treated as my own and regular updates/ pictures given and owners encouraged to visit during your horses stay.

Preston/Blackpool area. (All horses must first undergo isolation procedures for safety before moving on to main yard)
