NO FISHING ON STANLEY PARK

Fishing will be temporarily suspended on Stanley Park lake from Sunday 1 September 2024.
This follows growing concerns from park staff, Friends of Stanley Park and wildlife charities about instances of wildlife being entangled and harmed.
The temporary ban will last for six months to allow a review of fishing on the lake to take place.
