Today is our 8th birthday! Throughout the years we have helped thousands of cats who have been straying, feral and surrendered. Thank you so much to all of our supporters and volunteers, we couldn’t do any of this amazing work without you. Here’s to the next 8 years! 🎉🐱
These sweet 6 month old siblings were surrendered and are now in our care. The full tabby has already found a home 💚 but we have his brother and lots of other cats that need vet treatments, spaying and feeding. Can you help a cat this Christmas?
We would love to be able pay some of our vet bills off for Christmas 🎄 so the donation button has been put below. Please share far and wide!
A huge thank you from Penny and all of her kitty friends to Kathy Whiteside! Kathy donated gift bags of biscuits and treats for all of the cats in our care for Christmas! ✨🎄
Last night, 2 of our volunteer team received a call about some people who had been made homeless with pets. 2 cats were found in a suitcase in the public toilets on Central Pier, Blackpool. Our volunteers swiftly went into action and the cats are now safe in rescue.
We couldn’t do this work without the help, support and donations from our amazing community. Please consider donating some pennies to keep all of our cats fed, watered and able to receive veterinary care. You can also set up monthly donations on our PayPal donation link - every little truly does help ❤️🐱
Our Christmas party is being held on Friday 6th December with a tombola, raffle and buffet all raising money for our gorgeous cats 💝 DM for tickets 🎟️ If you have any prizes for our raffle, please drop them off at our shop Tenderpaws Charity Boutique on 202 Lytham Road, Blackpool 🎁
Our idea of fun! If anyone would like to volunteer to help with our cats and kittens at the hub, please get in touch! ❤️🫶🏻#rescuecatsofinstagram #rescuecats #catrescue #catcharity #rescueismyfavouritebreed #adoptme
These little ones are at the heart of our fundraising efforts - always 🩵
Hi everyone, we wanted to share with you a sad story of a young juvenile female we have just taken in yesterday.
We haven't named her yet so any suggestions are welcome.
This little girl was taken from an elderly woman in assisted housing after support workers could not get any help from the RSPCA.
As the cat is not considered abandoned or an abuse case ???.
The cat is in serious neglect. Running with fleas as you can see in the video. Stick thin, and you can see by her gums she's anemic.
Her coat has turned pink with all the blood from the fleas after we are trying to remove them and bathe her.
She's been fed with cat treats so in terrible condition.
Obviously, this lady was not in any fit state to take care of an animal and should have been removed months ago.
We are a small charity and we are desperate for help from you all with cats that we are taking in. Food bills and vet bills are sky-high.
Anything you can send to our PayPal or Bank account goes straight into the charity paying for the cat's care.
We really appreciate your support. This girl is one of the lucky ones.
She will get the care and love she deserves and will be rehomed to a responsible and capable owner when she's ready.
We have bank account details

We're looking for foster carers as kitten season has well and truly started. For mums and kittens you ideally need to have experience with foster caring although if you don't have any experience we're also looking for foster carers for kittens and cats a few months old and up. We're happy to supply food and litter on request and will always be available on the phone for any queries. Full veterinary back-up is also provided when necessary. Home checks will be required but all you need is a quiet spare room and time to care.
Since we've opened our larger hub up, we're also looking for more hub volunteers. This is physical work, emptying and cleaning multiple litter trays, washing and drying up food and water bowls, mopping floors and cleaning crates. Some of the cats also require medication so if you are comfortable handling cats, some of which can be spicy, this is also something that can be done. We have morning and afternoon shifts available, which can be done within a couple of hours and we always try to have at least 2 people on each shift, although we're now hoping for 3 because of the new hub area. Playing, fussing and giving all the cats plenty of attention is also something that plays a huge part as some of our cats have never been used to positive human attention in the past.
Gary one of our volunteers explains what is required in the attached video.
If you think you could spare a couple of hours each week to do a hub shift, or have a space room and time to foster, please get in touch with Chrissie or Kiwi by private message.
Please help us to help them .we take in mostly from the streets and alleyway. Many come in with injuries and very poorly We don't put up alot and perhaps we should ( unfortunately it's a time issue ) But stewie is one that came to us in November Never had a home always a stray How sad is that . So if there's anyone out there that could open up their hearts to a older cat like stewie that maybe isn't cuddley straight away but maybe in time please ring 07450627202 for a chat
