Miss Ava came for her first overnight stay and was a little scared, so my kids were roped in to help settle her.
She was a different puppy once she could play with the kids!

If you know you will be using Kennels for your dog, then it's always a good idea to get them used to coming when they are young. Whether that's day care, or regular overnight stays.

Sorry if I've been a bit quiet this last week.
Been away with the kids so answered messages when I had signal!

I've been working in the kennels this morning so now making my way though the many messages and enquiries.

I don't normally share these posts but Rupert was one of the Balmoral gang and we were devastated to hear of what happened.

I'm sure many of you have had incidents involving other dogs out of control or off lead, unfortunately Rupert lost his life due to the injuries he sustained.

Please take a minute to sign and share.

I'm sure Hayley won't mind me saying so but Rupert was such a character 🤣
He had his 'quirks' shall we say, and he liked to hump the staff (🙈) but we loved him all the same.

The staff have accessed the kennels via the Midgeland Rd end this morning.

I'm unsure on the Cropper Rd end but I was told last night it would be open.

So hopefully that means you should be able to get to us from either end of School Rd.

I understand the road has been fully laid and it's a matter of line painting today.

Fingers crossed we are back to normal!

Only access to the kennels is now from the end where the new road is!
So from Cropper Rd roundabout!!!

Midgeland Rd end now closed

I've only just been made aware. Ive no idea what access will be open in the morning 🙈

We have been told that there may be delays getting down School Rd today and you may be stopped.

If you are, then please tell the road workers that you are going to Bambers Lane and they will let you through.

I think they are starting to lay the new road today hence there may be delays.

School Rd has been dug up so it's very uneven and bumpy!!

You can ONLY access Bambers Lane from the Midgeland Rd end of School Rd.
There is a road closed sign but drive around the cones and continue along School Rd to Bambers Lane.

It has confused a few people as it doesn't actually say anything about access.

It is very busy this morning with roadworkers so leave extra time and if stopped tell them you are going to Bambers Lane (I was stopped this morning 🙈).
There's also a lot of drivers ignoring the signs and trying to drive through so then having to turn round🤦🏻‍♀️

You CANNOT access us from the Cropper Rd roundabout.

Microchipping!!

It is now law that cats over the age of 20 weeks need to be microchipped.

I have been microchipping pets for over 18 years, and I am fully qualified and insured.

I use the midi microchips (smaller needle than the the traditional chips) and they come with online registration to the Animal Tracker database, which is one of the largest databases in the UK.
To complete the registration there is a fee (basic - £9.95, premium £16.95)

If you need your cat (or dog, or rabbit) microchipping then please message to book in!

Just £12!!!

If you are unsure if your pet is chipped then I can scan and check, or your vet can scan for you also.

Has it really been that long!
From buying a plot of land with a stable block to where we are today!
Having never run a business it was one of the most daunting things I have ever done.

Who'd have thought I'd still be here and as busy as ever.

Thank you for all your support over the years. I couldn't have done it without you.

Thank you to my amazing team who continue to provide the best care for your animals.

There's (human) cake in the offices so please help yourself at drop off or pick ups!!

There are roadworks on School Rd (near the roundabout at new link road).
There is a road closed sign at Midgeland Rd but you can carry on to access Bambers Lane to get to the kennels.

The traffic is currently really bad and moving very slowly.

I'm not sure how long they are there for as we have had no warnings.

Drive carefully!

⭐️⭐️⭐️DOGGY DAY CARE CRECHE⭐️⭐️⭐️

We now have some rare availability for our Doggy Day Care Creche!!
Spaces on Mondays and Fridays (and an alternate Thursday slot)

⭐️Just £23 per day⭐️
8am - 6pm

🔸️These are permanent weekly spaces (except the Thursday which is 2 weekly)
🔸️Male dogs must be neutered
🔸️Females can not attend when in season (ideally should be neutered)
🔸️Must be fully vaccinated, including Kennel Cough vaccine
🔸️Must pass an initial assessment to ensure their 'fit' in to the existing group.
🔸️Your dog must be sociable and be able to mix with all breeds/sizes/sexes
🔸️Dogs are in a play group all day, supervised at all times (separate building to the kennels)

We don't often get spaces so please don't miss out! 😁
