Smugglers Equestrian - Riding School Smugglers Equestrian is a professional and friendly riding school based in Manmoel. The establishment is run by Melissa Burles.

Smugglers Riding School is based in the rural & tranquil countryside of Manmoel. Melissa has grown up and been around horses from a very young age, she was introduced to riding by her Father as a toddler and since then, they have become an addiction. Melissa enjoys competing and has done so successfully for many years, she gains a great sense of achievement through producing all of her horses hers

elf. She regularly competes at British Eventing competions which involves Dressage, Showjumping and Cross Country. Following school Melissa attended Usk Equine College where she attained her BHS Stages 1,2&3 and also her PTT, along with teaching hours she gained her Assistant Instructors Certificate and is a member of the BHS Register of Instructors. Melissa is also a qualified Equine Specific First Aider and has attended the British Equestrian Federation Safeguarding and Protecting Children Workshop provided by The British Horse Society. Melissa has taught on a freelance basis for many years, giving her a greater understanding of people, their needs and their horses needs. In April 2012 Melissa qualified as an Equine Sports Massage Therapist, under the world renowned Mary Bromiley. Following this Melissa further qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist for people. Being an empathetic and friendly instructor Melissa has brought the best out of many riders, which prompted her to launch a Riding Establishment.
