This gentle soul is Collie x Bella, who prior to being rehomed from Margaret Green Animal Rescue lived a sheltered life with very little opportunity to experience the wider world.

Bella is thriving with her guardian, but has a strong flight response owing to the hard time she has in the bath. Her reputation as an escape artist precedes her!

Bella was given time to explore and sniff out some tasty treats. We took things slow and eventually carried out the groom with lots of breaks and minimal restraint, allowing her the opportunity to move freely.

We are working on a calmer, less stressful and more comfortable experience for this well deserving sweetheart.

The best kind of CPD is when you get to hang out with your grooming pals from Delightful Dogs - Ringwood.

It's fair to say Becki is a bit of a hand stripping specialist. I joined her to improve my skills and experience this English Cocker Spaniel's first handstrip.

I came away with lots of hints and tips and cannot wait to apply this technique to my own silky coated clients.

I think you will agree this mud magnet 'Lady' had quite the transformation and left the salon looking quite the superstar! ⭐
