No grooming today- Luke and I had a very important job to tick off our wedding list! And we got our rings today not long now guys. So another reminder I will be closed October 13th-20th 👰‍♀️

NOAHS FIRST GROOM! 🙌 I really took my time with noah today as he's not had much/any experience with grooming or clippers fortunately he is a foodie. I wasn't going for perfection we were going for comfort and respecting boundaries, building a positive experience. By the end he was really getting the jist of things and I'm SUPER proud of him!!!

🎄 Christmas 🎄

Yes I said the C word..I've had several people book ahead for the rest of the year. Christmas time I will be opening the entire week monday- Friday with x3 Saturday openings offering various timings and slots to accommodate. If your looking to be organised I am more then happy to start taking the bookings ahead of time. X Amber X

Exciting times ahead- as some of you may know I work 2 jobs (one in retail the other is my grooming) as of September I will be fully invested into just my grooming as I say goodbye to my employed work in retail. This has been made possible due to all your incredible support 🙏 I'm excited! 🥰

Noah!!!! (Pumpkins brother!) Came for a little pamper the other day how cute is he. We're building confidence of the grooming salon after a not so fun first expirence previously elsewhere. Patience and consistency is key 🔑 sometimes it takes some time to find groomers that that are suitable for your pups and that is okay! Hoping we can begin his new journey slowly again 🥰🐻 proud of you little man!

🎃 pumpkin 🎃 we've had such a journey and to get to this point I'm incredibly proud of her. Between me pumpkin and her amazing mum we've been steadily building up pumpkins confidence again. Thank you for trusting me and trusting the process 🙏 recently whilst my clippers were down I gave her just a gentle scissor tidy. I couldn't believe the difference in her. Pumpkin comes every few weeks for a bath and blow dry and just to do what I can each time she Has got better and better and she adores my son Dylan who is actually a great distraction 😍🎃 team work!!!

Hoping for a cooler day! 🙏 please note I take the welfare of pups extremely whole heartedly and of highest priority. Temperatures reaching 30° in the pup hut will result in being rescheduled. I have fans running and am doing cooler baths, drying dogs with the no heat setting and letting them air dry partially where possible, Finishing grooms in the house if needed. Water always available extra breaks and moving grooms to earlier appointments where possible. If your pup has long/thicker ears I may leave these slightly damp on purpose to keep them cooler in extreme heat x

If you are one of my lovely local clients who is fortunate enough to be able to walk to me please consider the time of day/pavements/driving if able or just letting me know if you need to re jig I do understand! Dogs behaviour can completely change if they are to hot and I will not be using muzzles atall in this weather (not that I have to often anyway!) even for short periods. ❤️🙏🥰

GRASS SEEDS. 🍃 please make sure your checking your pups after walks were possible. One of my furry clients today came in with a very sore paw (naturally she doesn't want me to trim/touch it properly so do excuse that i did what i could 🤣) fortunately after her groom she was licking it and has managed to draw it out (I couldn't even see it!) enough for me to remove quickly (good work Bella!) Owner ofcourse informed and advice given going forwards. ❤️

Harvey! Harvey was my first ever Mane-Tames client when I opened in April. Despite him coming to me regularly he still really does not like the process/being brushed/holding his face, touching his feet... clippers... you get the list BUT he is the cutest sausage and I do kinda love him for his sass. We do what we can and what hee tolerate so here he is! 🐾🤍
