We know things are hard for everyone right now so we are pleased to announce our new Commercial Dog Walker Pass for 2023. We hope it will allow local businesses the chance to walk in a safe , secluded area affordably with ease .

Bookings will be made online in the normal way using a code . Bookings to be made under your business name and you must be fully insured . Maximum 6 dogs and 1 car per booking . Sessions cannot be sublet .

10x 1 hour sessions for £100 . This is offering a 50% discount on our normal rate .

UPDATE: ROAD NOW REOPENED
The B4109 is currently closed from Blunsdon to Highworth.

It’s believed a water leak has frozen overnight, making the road surface slippery.

The council has been informed.

As we are experiancing such dry conditions may I please kindly remind everyone of our strict NON SMOKING policy .

This evening I have found a cigarette butt on the premises 😩 should this have caught alight to the dry ground I hate to think of the outcome .

Due to Storm Eunice we are CLOSING the woodland for Tomorrow 18th February . Thankyou for all being so understanding . We are sorry to dissapoint you however safety always is our priority .

💚🦮 And just like that our beautiful woodland decended into a magic Jungle 🦮💚

It’s safe to say the woodland has appreciated the rain and pockets of sun we have had and the growth is amazing , it smells so fresh and has an enchanting wild jungle feel to it at this time of the year . Perfect for letting the dogs have a good sniff and game of hide and seek .

🦮So a little earlier on someone decided to comment on a post of mine saying “ Reactive dogs are only reactive due to poor owner training “ 🦮

Safe to say I nearly blew a gasket !

I have put the comment down to poor education of the rather grumpy other party ! I had to put my phone away for an hour to make sure I didn’t say something I would regret at a later date .

Whilst my phone was in time out ... I thought about how this grumpy uneducated indervidual may react and behave should she pass a dog walker out with their own reactive dog ??

It made me so sad , I started up Bedford & Bark to help owners feel more comfortable and safe when out walking so they can carry on being utterly fantastic and supportive to their beloved pets as complexed as some may be.

We all know reactivity is not a fault , it’s not something to be embarrassed about ... heck I reacted when said grumpy and uneducated lady commented so why can’t our dogs ?? Answer is ... they can 😃 we just , as the advocates for our dogs have to ensure the safety of them and others whilst they do so 👍🏻

So please , if you are about and see a Walker with what is clearly a reactive dog .. nod them hello , say what a stunning dog ( we all love our dogs regardless and love to have them complimented , one passing comment may make someone’s day ) Keep clear if you can and don’t blame the dog , the owner or judge them .... you dont know the story .. just admire the love and persistance 😍
