The clippers should follow the muscle that runs along the top of the foreleg to get a neat diagonally line.
For under the elbow smaller clippers/trimmers should be used or Have a helper to pull the foreleg forward so the area you’re clipping is flatter and firmer as any loose skin can get caught in the clippers and cause harm to the horse.
I use Liveryman Black beauty for the outer line and Liveryman Nova for under the elbow.
