The role includes:
-Operating a wheeled loading shovel
-Normal hours of work will be 7am – 5pm Monday to Friday

Road Closure causing major issues to the AWJ Woodwaste Site.

London Road, Glasgow, is being resurfaced from the Mount Vernon Train Station to past the Dogs Trust. Customers can come from the West Side of London Road by the Range superstore to Mount Vernon Train Station. Please ignore the road closed sign and come through and turn right.

Well …… it’s Monday ! What a weekend we had ! 🫶. We hope you all enjoyed our wonderful elite show🦄❤️

Just under 600 rounds jumped and only standing room available ring side we were mobbed ! The classes courses jump offs were fantastic so exciting for all to watch ! 🐎 💨

A huge well done to everyone who qualified for the wonderful royal highland show 🫶

A big thanks to the fabulous 🤩John Bedford ,Brian dargo and Ramsay benson for all there hard work in ring 😍 Jane and her judges Anne and Martin kailee show sec ! Ewan and romy on the gate ,Our cafe and bar staff and the wonderful Joanne for sorting the place out every night 👏👏

We really do have a great team can’t wait to do it all again soon ! 😍

Here at AWJ Woodwaste we use the most modern equipment and vehicles to ensure site clearance jobs are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Check out this recent one-day site clearance in Fife, moving five artic loads of woodwaste off site in just under five hours. This process ensured that 75 tonnes of wood were recycled rather than ending up in landfill.

You can now tip your woodchip at our sites in the North of England and Scotland, and we will pay you £20 per tonne.

As well as our site at Bishopbriggs in Glasgow, we have recently added three new tipping sites to meet your needs:
-AWJ Woodwaste in Bo’ness near Edinburgh
-Corrie Skips in Kilmarnock in East Ayrshire
-CLC Recycling Services in Wallsend in Newcastle
