****NEW ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN AGED 2-5 YEARS****

We have been inundated with parents asking for ‘Tots Clubs’ but on a different day to the one we had scheduled in, so we have listened and come up with the following….

Every Monday at 11am. 12pm finish….TOTS FARM CLUB. This a NON ridden session and is being run at a reduced rate of £15 per child. Sessions are run by Amy who has a wealth of early years experience and is just fantastic. Children can come and spend time with all of our various animals and make new friends….2 and 4 legged. Parents are welcome to stay or nip off and run errands, or take a bit of time for yourselves! Tea and coffee provided for parents who stay to join us. This club will run weekly throughout term time and the holidays.

Every Wednesday at 11am. 12pm finish….TOTS RIDING CLUB. This is a ridden session and will be run by our amazing qualified coach Julie. Julie has years of experience and is great fun. Children will ride for half an hour and then spend some time grooming the ponies and learning how to behave around them. £30 per child. This session will run weekly during term time.

Every Friday at 11am. 12pm finish….TOTS RIDING CLUB. This is a ridden session and will be run by our wonderful qualified coach Sarah. Sarah has years of experience and is fantastic at instilling confidence. Children will ride for half an hour and then spend some time grooming the ponies and learning how to behave around them. £30 per child. This session will run weekly during term time.

All bookings need to be done via our online booking system Ec Pro. You will find these sessions under ‘Activity Courses’ once you have registered and been accepted on to the system they will become visible for you.

OCTOBER PONTISPOOL CAMP 2025
3rd - 5th October.

BOOKINGS OPEN ON SUNDAY 27TH APRIL AT 7PM. Deposit of £100 required to secure booking.

We are SOOOOOOOO excited to say bookings open for our October Pontispool Camp on Sunday at 7pm!! These spaces do not hang around long and this camp often sells out within an hour of opening bookings, so please don’t hang around!!

Our Spring and Autumn camps at Pontispool are most definitely right up at the top of our favourite days of the year.

We just have so much fun. The food is incredible and the caterers are the nicest and kindest people, the facilities are amazing, our coaches are insane, Julia always gets the very best pictures, everyone always achieves so much and we always come away feeling so sad it’s over, but so grateful to have had the very best time with everyone.

Huge Thankyou to all of you who have come along and joined us for one of our famous Easter Egg Hunts on horseback this holiday. 🥰🥰

We have had so much fun with you all. Our final Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled in for Monday morning and we have just opened our final couple of spaces 🐣🐣🐣

Huge Thankyou to our Assistant Yard Manager Abbie who makes these Easter Egg Hunts so much fun for our riders.

We are really excited to be heading back to see the lovely Little Margate Pony Club down in Newquay this Easter Sunday!!
We will be serving up breakfast baps, pizzas, hot and cold drinks and also some tasty Easter Treats for everyone!

Can’t wait to see everyone and watch the jumping and fun!!

Well we are home from THE VERY BEST WEEKEND away at Pontispool Equine Sports & Holidays for our first camp of 2025.

We could not have asked for better weather, Pontispool was the most amazing venue as always, incredible food from such kind caterers, THE best bunch of campers, an amazing group of horses/ponies and the very best coaches in the world. Everyone achieved sooooooo much and we are so proud of you all 😘😘 We honestly wish we were able to do it all over again today 🥺🥺

Such a huge amount of time, energy and love goes in to these camps from the organisers AND the coaches, so to have so much incredible feedback from so many of you has been amazing. Thankyou for taking the time to do that 🫶I am loving seeing all of your incredible pictures from Julia Powney Photography and watching all of your reels. 🥰🥰

Feeling so incredibly grateful to have such a wonderful LME family and to have been able to spend such a wonderful sunny weekend with you all!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Thankyou 🫶🫶🫶

I want to say the HUGEST HUGEST THANKYOU to you guys 🫶🫶

The outpouring of love and support we have received over the last few days since losing one of our most special unicorns has been off the scale.

He touched so many hearts and did so much for so many people ❤️‍🩹 He has left THE hugest hole here that will never be filled, but we are carrying on as he would have wanted. He would have told us all to stop looking sad and get going 🫶🫶

It really has meant the absolute world to us all so Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou ######xx

I am utterly heartbroken to break the news that we have lost our incredible’Big Jack’ today 💔💔💔💔 It still doesn’t seem real and I can confirm these days don’t get any easier …. In fact I think they are getting harder. 💔💔 The price we pay for loving them so so SO much. However I am taking comfort from the fact he was so happy, fit and healthy right up until the last few days. He had the most fantastic fun in a jump lesson with one of his all time favourite people on Tuesday evening and really was the picture of health and happiness right up until Friday 🥺

He had been under the weather over the weekend and despite all of our efforts (the LME team and our brilliant vet Paul) this morning it was clear he was deteriorating, not improving as we had hoped, so we raced up to Western Counties Equine Hospital praying they could help him. HUGEST Thankyou Mollie Trethewey for coming with me …. So grateful for you 🙏🏻🫶

The team at the hospital agreed colic surgery was an option as despite being 25 he was so fit and healthy, but it was a race against time and he was heading into surgery within an hour of us arriving. Sadly once the surgery was underway it became apparent how poorly he was inside 💔💔 and we had to agree not to wake him up from the surgery. One of THE s******t days.

There are no words to describe how much we will miss him. He was the definition of a real life unicorn who I loved and adored more than words, as we all did. He really was part of our LME family and it always feels almost impossible to move on without them. 💔😭

I know how many of you guys he helped over the years and how many of you are going to be heartbroken this evening….I’m so so sorry….we did everything we could to help him….he was just too poorly.

This Friday 21st March, is my favourite of all the Flying Changes Mindset workshops. I love them all but this one, every time I hear it or deliver it, gives me such a 🤯moment in my brain but in such a good way.

Have you been setting goals and sort of starting to get somewhere then life gets in the way, other things happen and your goal seems to get put aside?

This is what has happened 100% in my life and so by using the skills I’m learning with the NLP training and the amazing sessions from Jenni I am now able to reevaluate, re map those goals and a plan and process to achieve them.

Your goal is personal to you, it’s not what someone else thinks you should do, it’s what YOU want to do. If you have something that you would like to work towards and need help to learn how to ensure it comes to fruition, then make sure you come along to Friday’s ‘Making Dreams a Reality’ workshop 6pm at Lanhydrock Hall, loads of parking and refreshments included.

TEST RIDING CLINIC

After such an incredible 24/25 Autumn/Winter Dressage Training series, we had some very sad faces last night that it was the last one until next Autumn. We also have a lot of keen people who are planning a busy Spring/Summer of competing, as well as some people wanting to take part in their first Dressage Competition this year, plus everyone in between SO….

On TUESDAY 22nd APRIL we are going to be holding a ‘Test Riding Clinic’ at the usual time that we would be holding our training clinics. We will have the dressage arena set up and you will be given a time slot to come in and ride your test. The judge (Rachel) will then chat to you about how it went and what could be improved and you then get the chance to come in and ride through your test again.

Very informal. Suitable for everyone. Warm up will be in the arena and in a lesson type setting. A fantastic chance to ride through a test, get some feedback and then have chance to ride through it again. Tests can be called so no pressure to remember them!

What an amazing experience Harriet and Easy had on Saturday. They were nominated to take part in the England Pony Club Mounted Games Trials at Dallas Burston in Warwickshire. This was a HUGE deal with the England Team being selected for Windsor Horse Show and the 2025 season at these trials.

Harriet, Easy and Emma (Harriet’s wonderfully supportive Mum) left on Friday lunchtime to head up and stay close by, ready for the 8.30am tack inspection on Saturday morning. Mandy and I headed up first thing Saturday morning and made it just in time to watch the trials. This was such a huge deal for Harriet and we are so very proud of her. The trials lasted over three hours, thank goodness Harriet and Easy are super fit! To top it off Easy isn’t Harri’s usual games pony, but we had to do a last minute swop only a few days before the competition so it was an even bigger deal to actually get there at all, let alone get there, enjoy it and be even keener to come back again next year.

It was an incredible day to experience for us all and Harriet has come away from the weekend with huge dreams and aspirations to compete in mounted games internationally….so watch this space!! Full steam ahead!! We can’t wait to support her in her next chapter 🫶🫶
