We've had a couple of last minute spaces come available for our reactive dogs workshop on Sunday (19th November) please message for more information and to book in.
We will be going in depth and covering reasons for reactivity alongside techniques to help your dog to overcome it whether it be caused by fear, excitement or something else.
All with gentle kind techniques to help them to overcome it rather than mask the problem.

Our upcoming workshop on the 19th November will be on reactive dogs and how to help them. Reactive doesn't necessarily mean aggressive, it's often a dog struggling to cope with their emotions and can present in many ways, not just barking and lunging. This can be related to fear, excitement, frustration or other emotions. We will give lots of information on what reactivity is and what causes it and most importantly how to help our dogs overcome it. Understanding our dogs is often the best way to help them. This workshop will be theory based, there's no need to bring your dogs and stress them out and the workshop will be open to non club members.

We've had a fantastic morning of testing today, thank you to Debs for giving up your Sunday to assess for us. Congratulations to everyone today, we had wonderful bronze and silver passes and you made us very proud. It's days like this that make our job even more worthwhile and all your hard work has paid off.
We are looking forward to continuing working with you all towards silver and gold.

Our puppy courses work on basic skills to set your puppy up for daily life while putting the emphasis on fun and building a strong cooperative bond with lots of trust. We also give lots of information to help you with everyday life and raising your puppy. We use only positive training techniques, helping your puppy to want to work with you.

In light of the recent news regarding XL bullies being placed onto the dangerous dogs list, we would like to help owners through this dreadful time.

We are offering heavily discounted sessions to help you get your dogs used to wearing a muzzle comfortably as unfortunately this is highly likely to become a legal requirement in public. We will teach this in a positive way so it won't be a problem for you and your dog. We can also offer advice on general behavior in public places.
This is for bullies only, we want to help as much as possible so please get in touch if we can be of assistance.

Upcoming workshop 23rd September
Our dogs are experts at reading our body language yet we have very little understanding of theirs. They spend their lives trying to communicate with us using subtle signs that often go unnoticed then when they do escalate to vocalisations, they are often told off. They live in a world where they cannot communicate with us and we speak to them in a language they don't understand. This can cause a lot of stress and frustration for them.
You can change this, come along to our body language workshop where we will decode their complex language and help you to understand what they are telling you. It also helps you to read the body language of other dogs that may interact with yours alongside understanding how your dog feels in everyday situations.
This can help improve your bond and reduce behaviour problems by you and your dog having a mutual understanding of each other and more trust.
