In the 2.5weeks Tilly has been home, we've had nothing but storms🌪🌧 So inbetween the hail showers, she finally enjoyed a good rugless session and got some wind through her hair, before enjoying a much needed roll🤭

When the van indicates to turn down your road so you prepare to hop off but instead they cut right past your youngsters nose 🤦‍♀️
This is why I like babies to be walking the roads at 9months so things like this won't phase them🙏🤣

Another morning for Ember learning the ropes. Steering especially, so we can try keep those legs walking in a straight line 🤭

Seems my camera was hoping to 'detect motion' of the broncing sort but instead it recordered a very wobbly legged Ember having her 2nd lot of steps under saddle 🤭
Dragged her out the field on Thursday for a walk in hand. Long reined her this morning and finished with this...wonder if i can finally get her going this time without work commitments coming first 👀🤞

Well I don't like to speak too soon as the gusts here are still 67mph but it's an improvement from the 86mph measured yesterday!
Thankfully everything's stayed in place(well just about) but despite the horrendous winds,everyone's enjoying some well needed time out. Fencing is still either in the hedges or snapped/in pieces so have made do with turnout in the lower part of the field.
Was hoping to put Embers track back up but in this wind,you're fighting a losing battle 🫠
A job for another day!!!!

Hope everyone's stayed safe and well🤞 here's to calmer weather next week🙌🤣

Well if someone told me that after all these years, Tilly would be coming home,i would've been doubtful and assume that perhaps she may not even be around...but here we are! Welcome home again Tilly🥳

From producing her into a fun little allrounder,teaching her everything she needs to know, she went on to make many more children very happy across the county,before finally settling down in Kent making further memories with her best friend!!!🥰
Now at the dear age of 28 and her owner very sadly outgrowing her, we agreed that it seemed only fair that she's to finally hang up her bridle and have a well deserved retirement being a spoilt field companion🤭

Shes left some very big boots to fill in every home she's been too, along with some very upset little humans when saying goodbye😓 But shes helped shape them into the little riders they are today and im very pleased to have the opportunity to be her final home🥰

Some added grey hairs but shes still bright eyed as ever 🤣

This mornings glow up! Hunter clip with a custom 'half cheek' as apposed to a half-head.
Usually a medium blade would be my choice for the pink skinned but as the risk of sun burn is very low this time of year,my client preferred the extra mm length taken off with the fine blade.🤭
No more being a sweaty mess!!😁

"Your horses must be turned out to perfection with your line of work."... Although I do try to keep mine looking nice,you can always tell when I'm busy as my horses will be the last on the list to be bathed,clipped and looking even remotely smart🤣 just look at the state of it 🤣
