2 happy boys now much more comfortable and fly free after their sheath clean! And an added bean removal for dear wilbur!🥰
The build up of sticky, smelly sm**ma is the perfect setting for fly strike/maggots,especially in this heat! Flies will feed and tend to lay eggs within the skin folds in the entrance of the sheath, however I have been to a few cases previously where they've travelled further up into the sheath cavity, causing an array of problems!!🤢
So a thorough clean is essential to prevent this issue from arising 🪰
These boys will have a 2nd clean around late autumn time, to remove any build up produced between now and then,to ensure they're going into winter fresh as a daisy 😊
I always recommend they're done twice a year to maintain their health & cleanliness 🐴
So ideally, a clean in the spring in prep for summer and then one nearing winter, post summer months🥰
