Hey guys. It’s been a crap few months for many of us and so to keep things proactive I’ve decided to do a little fund raising with a friend for the Royal British Legion (RBL), one of the only charities I support along side the RNLI and Dogs Trust.

I’ve already had a £5 donation from a customer this week! I was very grateful and humbled. Any tip money during the month of August I will be putting in the pot too. We are doing a sponsored walk of over 200 miles between us and I will be running a raffled for a schnauzer Dora Doorstop so keep your eyes open for that.

I’m also looking for any raffle prices if anyone has anything please let me know.

Thank you for any support that you can offer be it a few pounds, walking with us, buying a ticket or just cheering us on. 😊

We’ve been grooming Dexter since he joined the fire department and have watched him develop and gain his qualifications. We also groomed Freckles his predecessor.

We are now open and business as usual after our Christmas break.

Can everyone please check your appointments for jan/feb 2018. We are having a few customers who haven’t written their appointments down on their 2018 calendar and have forgotten to come in.

Here at K9 we feel it is important to socialise puppies as early as possible. As soon as your puppy is vaccinated and safe to venture into the big bad world it is important to take him to school and introduce him to as many different experiences as possible. This helps the puppy grow into a well rounded adult.

We also recommend that groomed breeds are introduced to the groomers as early as possible too. This lets the puppy have time to play and enjoy the groom. Encouraging good behaviour and acceptance of the grooming procedures.

For this reason we have changed our policies regarding puppy grooms. We now offer a free puppy groom to all breeds under 4 months of age and for puppies age between 4 and 6 months a puppy groom will cost half the adult price for his breed.

All puppies must be vaccinated and had the required 'safe' time after vaccination before going to any groomer.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. All prices are a guide and may vary depending on size and condition of the dog and it's coat. Please find below the up to date price list effective from 24th of February 2017

Over the past few weeks it has come to our attention that customers with early morning appointments are turning up before their allocated appointment time and while the shop is still closed. It would also appear that these customer are then leaving before the shop is open and in advance of their appointment time.

It clearly states on the opening and closing time sign hung on the door that all times are subject to change and closure due to seasonal and staff holidays.

If your appointment is at 9am and the sign on the door suggests an 8am opening time please don't leave before your appointment as we maybe opening at 9 that day due to staff holidays, personal appointments etc.

A member of staff has been on holiday for the last 3 working days thus changing opening and closing times in accordance with staffing levels. However the shop has been open on time for all grooming appointments.
