⭐Pup of the day⭐ Evie is today's pup of the day! Just look at that face, how adorable is she! Evie always knows how to put a smile on everyone's face and brings the daycare mood right up! She's such a water girl and absolutely loves to play with all her friends.
⭐Pups of the day⭐ We have 2 winners today, Brian and Dougal!! They are the cutest (and the biggest!) boys and both absolutely love cuddles and strokes. They are so good at keeping control of the group and are definitely boss!
Chive came in for a freshen up yesterday, and just look at the results!! The owners were that happy they left us a 5 star google review!! Thank you.

These two were in today for a groom and we think the end result speaks for itself! So adorable, they were a bit unsure in the van for the first time but we took it nice and slow for them, we then had a quick play in the back garden when we dropped them back home after. ❤🐾🐕😎
⭐Pup of the day⭐ Pup of the day goes to Ace! Ace has done extremely well today (some might say he has done "Ace") he's a new dog since starting daycare! From starting off wary of the staff and other dogs to now running straight in and absolutely loving cuddles. Ace is the sweetest, most loving and adorable pup. Proud of you Ace!

As the days are starting to get shorter, make sure you plan sometime for yourself to get out in the sunshine (when we have it that is) but also make sure you're out walking your dogs safely, if you're starting work at 9am it more than likely will be dark soon while you're walking your dog so plan ahead and have the correct clothing, torches and safety gear ready.
Or book your dog in to daycare for us to exercise them for you while you work, you can pretty much guarantee they will be tired when you get them home from daycare, although I'm sure a lot of the dogs wouldn't mind a walk round the block before or after daycare so you get some air.

This Sunday's Rising Star is Dexter!! Dexter has been with us a few months now and he was quite nervous at the beginning, not sure of other dogs and a bit scared to do anything wrong, but with our staff and the other dogs guidance he has gained lots of confidence and loves coming to daycare now, plays really well with some of the other dogs, he is still a bit unsure about the bigger dogs but he is getting used to them now. Well done Dexter!!!
However, this doesn't always work for all timid dogs, we've had a few dogs that haven't been suitable in the past and we will tell you after their trial session that unfortunately they won't be suitable for daycare. If you're unsure get in touch with us and ask the question.
Look 👀 at this handsome young pup Teddy!! He has really become such a lovely dog, really has grown in to the daycare and is now a regular for most days of the week! Gets a long with all the other dogs and can easily mix with the young/small dogs and the big boisterous dogs too.
Teddy would like to wish everyone a fantastic end to the summer holidays and hopes to have more friends joining him in September, he also says that the trial sessions are fun and easy to attend, it only cost him £10 of his pocket money too!!
This Saturday's Rising Star is Luna!! Luna came to us only a few weeks ago and wow!! How fast she has fitted in with all the other dogs has amazed us all! She has gone from being very shy and timid, to playing with all the other dogs and can't wait to get in to the daycare. We're really proud of her.
BACK TO SCHOOL!!!!! Its back to school next week for the kids and all the doggies that have had a summer break this year, and we're so looking forward to greeting them in to the daycare, so if you need daycare for your precious pup get in touch to book your doggo in next week, spaces are limited now!!

⭐Pup of the day⭐ Well done Woody! Woody has the cutest little face and the happiest smile!! He's such a sweet pup and gets on so well with all the dogs, he can't wait to run into the daycare. After a full day of playing he likes to chill out with staff for lots of cuddles. 😎
The lovely Bertie in for a bath and tidy while at daycare today! We think he looks amazing especially now he is on Your Pets Pals grain free dog food, its really helping reduce the staining around his eyes and paws. Bertie you're a super star ⭐
⭐Pup of the day⭐ Just look how adorable Dexter is!! Dexter is so friendly to all the staff and his friends, he loves coming to daycare for a fun day of non stop playing. He has gained so much confidence since his first day, he interacts and plays so well with everyone. Well done Dexter!!

Here at Your Pets Pals we not only provide top notch daycare we also provide top notch care from the inside too!! Heres the poo bags we sell which are made with recycled plastic and most of that comes from ocean plastic which is recovered, so you can do your bit for the environment by picking up your dogs poo and use ocean plastic!! We also sell finer by nature raw dog food and treats along side our own brand of locally made dry dog food, finer by nature is the best quality raw dog food we have been able to find so much so when you open it, it smells like human food!! Our dry food is made in Chorley with ingredients from within 50 miles too, when its all mixed together it is gently cooked rather than at high temps like normal dog food, so you'll see the difference in behaviour, coat, eye and ear health too!!
⭐Pup of the day⭐ Well done Honey for winning today's pup of the day! Honey is the loveliest girl and is so well behaved. She sets a great example to the other pups in daycare and always has lots of fun with her friends ❤
SMASHED IT!!!! Because the daycare was a bit quieter this bank holiday weekend on Saturday we decided to treat the dogs that were in to a trip out across the moors for 3 hour 6 mile walk!! Obviously with permission from the owners first. We think it was a massive success with lots of stimulation, exercise and play too! Don’t forget all the recall work they will have learnt from the tasty slice and dice treats we used!! We might even offer this in the future to daycare customers, obviously some of the dogs won’t be suitable but the dogs that we had out today it took a while to get connected to them (around 45 mins ish) but when we were finally connected and we could let them off lead boy did they come in to their own they came back when asked every single time, they greeted other dogs only when handler says it’s ok. Lots of check ins with handler.
So all in all a fantastic day, check out stories to see some videos, also bumped in to some new friends at some lovely stables who are going to join us in the daycare in the future.
Summer/Autumn? grooming, get booked in for your pooches grooming session, most dogs could do with a groom every 6 weeks even if its just a bath and tidy, this keeps them in tip top condition and avoids any nasty surprises of extra charges when your dog hasn't been for a while, its also a good way to get them checked over for any issues that might need to be seen by a vet, book today.

Luna would like to remind everyone with other puppies that they need their vaccinations before being able to attend daycare to make sure they're properly protected against killer infections, the first set of vaccinations are live viruses so they can't attend until 2 weeks after their second vaccinations, yearly boosters aren't live vaccinations so they can attend same day or day after as long as no symptoms have shown. So if you wanted to attend daycare in the first week of September they need to have had their second vaccinations this week.
Unfortunately we can't bend or change this rules as these are stipulated as part of licensing.
⭐Pups of the day⭐ yes that's right we have two super stars today and they're brothers too. Harley and Ziggy have been part of the YPP team since before we became a doggy daycare, so they are well and truly part of the family, they're two of the most loving dogs you will meet with their full body wag when they meet anyone, they get along with every single dog and have so many friends now. Well done Harley and Ziggy 🐕😎😍

Our Functional Character Workshops help you to determine your dog’s Functional Character, giving you a deeper understanding of them and their interactions with other dogs. Heather Stevens, qualified dog trainer, and her team of experts, work with groups of dogs “at liberty” and in a controlled and safe environment, giving them space to reveal their true functional character. This allows our human workshop attendees the chance to observe canine communications and observe functional characters in action. . What a great first trip out as a daycare to a secure field!! Wow it was muddy, never seen our van or dogs so dirty before!! Well worth it though and hopefully all the dogs are drying out now while relaxing, they took some hosing down at the daycare! Probably do another trip in March to somewhere different this time. Thanks to everyone who booked on! Time for a beer now. Will post some photos separately
