Recall from distractions
I have worked hard with Arlo; recall started in the house, garden and moved to quiet areas out side.
Lots of engagement games.
When out I mix it up, some dogs she ignores, some she may sniff no more than three seconds in general, don’t wait for something to happen.
Some dogs she gets to play with but not before coming back and then released to play. This makes up part of the reward ( along with the obligatory high value treat)
We know the other dog in the video is friendly so she could play, but came back when recalled not bad for a nine month old puppy.

All the behaviours we practiced today have been proofed many times in the house and garden before taking outside and I am still aware of the level of distraction
