Dog nutrition 🥩🥦🥚
Something we’re all s**t at. No one teaches you about dogs, how to behave with them or what to feed them, you know useful things in life. Dog nutrition is incredibly important, I’ll share a bit of info with you all that I’ve learnt so far. I apologise in advance as the text on my photos didn’t have spell check so have fun in there.🥹

A dogs dinner of nutrition - Quails eggs 🥚 - These tiny eggs offer valuable nutrients such as protein, iron, and vitamins A and B12.
Rabbits ears 🐇 - A natural dewormer, improved digestion, teeth cleaner, rich in fibre, hypoallergenic, puppy friendly. The most unique benefit of rabbit ears for dogs is that they act as a natural dewormer. The fur creates a ‘brushing’ action which helps to filter out worms and eggs that are in your dog’s digestive system.
Tumeric paste 🧡 - For heart health, joint health, a digestive aid, healthy skin and coat, anti inflammatory.
Salmon coin 🐟 - Rich in omega 3, for healthy skin and coat.
Durham rabbit mince 🐇 - (75% Meat 15% Bone, 10% Offal), Rabbit Cuts, Bone, Heart, Liver, Spleen. Hypoallergenic.
Carrot, peas, broccolli & cauliflower 🥦🥕 - high in many nutrients, vitamin A, vitamin b6, including fiber, vitamin C, vitamin K, iron, and potassium.
Top serloin Steak 🥩 -low in sodium, lean protien source, antioxidant, low fat.

Nutritional qualities-
BETTER DIGESTION
Raw, natural food can be easier for dogs to digest. Plus, there's none of the added sugar, bulkers or derivatives found in some pet foods.
Because raw food is 100% natural with no added fillers, there's less waste to come out the other end! The result is smaller, firmer, more pick-up-able poos
SHINIER COAT AND HEALTHY SKIN.
Fresher breath, cleaner teeth.
How much should I be feeding my dog - in general your dog should consume around 2% to 3% of its body weight per day. Therefore a dog weighing 5kg should be eating approximately 100g of food per day. Feeding raw from 2-5% depending on your dogs current weight.

A very merry Christmas to everyone at the destitute animal centre in Bolton. 🐾❤️
These people do some incredible work and the true love and care for their animals is beautiful.

Thank you to anyone who has donated towards this cause. The lovely people at the shelter are going above and beyond for their animals who will be enjoying a lovely Christmas dinner tomorrow. Merry Christmas everyone!🎄☃️❤️

FYI I’ll be returning to Bolton Destitute Animal Centre every few months so if you would like to donate anything please leave them for me and I’ll do a trip every few months. They do appriciate everything but if you can do they are in need of these items specifically:

A rubbish post but it’s a must…
UNLESS you’ve done your research and I don’t mean a quick Google search, I mean months of research, found a dog that will suit your lifestyle, found a reputable breeder/ have looked into the background of a dog you want to adopt. DONT BUY A DAMN DOG.❌❌❌. Don’t buy a dog on a whim
Don’t buy a dog because it looks cute
Don’t buy a dog as a present for your kid
Don’t buy a dog because it’s on sale
Don’t buy a dog because how it will make you look

Should you get a dog???
Do you have the time for a dog?
Do you have the money for a dog?
Do you have the patience for a dog - you should view it the same as having a child.
Are you able to meet their needs?
Can you commit to 10+ years?
Do you want a dog for the right reasons?
Dogs are family members not Toys, do you want another family member?

Shelters are overloaded in the new year as the cuteness has worn off. They’re barking, one cr*pped on the floor. They’ve chewed through a wire, they’ve snapped at one of the kids, they’ve shredded their bed and they just won’t. Stop. Barking!!!!
So now the dogs outside and it won’t stop barking.
The neighbours complaining.
It comes back in and is shredding things, it’s growling at a visitor, its little razor teeth won’t stop biting through all my furniture.

Dogs are such an insanely large commitment and I don’t think people realise the time, effort, money, patience and genuine love that you need if you’re planning to get a dog. Most people choose dogs for how they look. Not what best suits their lifestyle. They’re not accessories. Your dog should suit you and your lifestyle and you should be willing to commit to all of the above and have our ample research in.

To conclude- please don’t buy a dog for Christmas!!! ❤️❤️❤️

What a wonderful Sunday spent at charity dog show!🐾🐶🐕‍🦺🎗🌳💌

We had a wonderful day at the dog show, Jürgen got fourth prize in the ‘top hospice dog’ category! Well done my little coffee bean. 🐶☕️❤️👏🏼

Bolton hospice do some amazing work and provide expert care and support for local people facing life-limiting illnesses, and their families. I’ve supported the hospice for a long time now and will continue to do so to support their amazing work.❤️
