The funeral is on 19th November at Overdale Crematorium. West Chapel.at 11.00.
The Wake is at Old Links Golf course and anyone attending the funeral is welcome to attend the wake.
Let’s send her off loved and in style.

It is with great sadness that I inform you all about the passing of our wonderful friend Shiela.
I took my dog to training because of Shiela and from that day on we became firm friends. I can’t thank her enough for all she did to help me, and I only hope she thought I returned the favours.
She was a very selfless women, who always helped others first. Many of you will have benefitted from her help.
Her devotion to dogs was second to none. In fact I ‘m sure those over rainbow bridge will have bowled her over by their welcome.

Her illness and subsequent passing was very sudden.
At this point I don’t know any funeral details, but will pass them on to you all as I get them.
It is my hope that we can give her a good send off , showing her how she was loved by us all.
I know some will have joined later and possibly didn’t meet her but if you knew her you were truly privileged to meet one of the best ever.

Sleep peacefully my friend and enjoy being back with family and all your pups of yester years.

The dog club will miss its best friend .

Hi folks, The end of an era last night.
Due to ill health I did my last night at the club.
The club will continue with a very experienced trainer called Joy Thornton and her helpers.
I have struggled to carry on the last 16 months and I know I would have had to close for a long while. I wanted to do the best for current clients.

I don’t know what the future holds, but I hope to do things with dogs later if fit enough.

The change over happened very quickly, and was unexpected yesterday, so from next week Joy will run the club.

It has been a very happy place and I saw so many dogs go from fearful to confident, dogs winning awards, and on of my favourites “this is his doggy youth club””
I remember the dogs, some not with us anymore . I was beginning to feel like Mr Chips, with people bringing second and third dogs.

I want to thank you all for making it such a happy place, in particular the advanced class who made me laugh every week. I can’t list you all but you know who you are.
I really hope to meet you all again sometime.

Love to you all and your dogs, it was a very special journey .

Puppy socialisation is NOT just about playing with other dogs.

In fact, too much uncontrolled exposure to other dogs can cause so many unintended consequences.

If you have a puppy, make sure you try to work on ALL aspects of socialisation, as listed in the bottom graphic.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Dog Training on March 1st is cancelled.

We want to use this time to do something important , that we never get chance to do in class.

Please come to club at 7pm, without your dog, to a free ALL THINGS DOG TALK
